ok did this swap, but at first had problems with the rpms i wasnt going any higher than 3500 rpms, fixed that, had to put obd2 crank pully balancer belt (i dont know if thats the right name for it) anyway got that fixed, but now that motor dont dont pull hard at all i have understand that h23a vtec should pull a little harder than h22a vtec, but this one does too damn slow u can also hear backfire? ANYONE?
my brother has one of them shits on his 91 aacord, let me tell you my F20B don't generate power the way that shit does. I got a lil bit of low 1-3 after that it stresses the motor to get speed, but that H23A just keeps puttin in power through all the gears, crazy

8.9 seconds isn't fast on a 1/8 mile drag....my cousin's Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda did a quarter mile that fast

H23 trans were made for topend pple say 5th gear on h22 pulls hard and easily goes 140+.
Thats the trans I have but I have the h23 motor also.

You can use any f and f series trans but h22 will be better.
