well if no trees then your best bet is doing all the multiple patches with a herb patch in it. by doing the best kind of seed you shouldnt lose money with the herbs you plant.

also, if your not interested in that and want a steady 3k farming xp an hour, plus a good 200k+ an hour you can do sorcers' garden with 65 theiving and prince ali rescue quest as a requirement

If i get a bunch of seeds from woodcutting in birds nests, couldn't i just plant those seeds even if they are like acorns and stuff? I'd still be able to get really good exp

your right that does work, the only downside is that the chances of you getting a nest aren't to high, making this a horrrible way for xp, but if it works for, then go for it, after all it does save money

well since your at a lower lvl, you could still do the best alloments and flowers. i'd always recommend doing the best herb possible even all the way to 70. at 30 i also recommend willow trees. hope i helped

this is how u get herblore cheaper and farming to well you see when u kill the giant mole u'll get skins and claws trade them for seeds and u got free seeds u might get rannars to. and i think u know what to do next..plant them 4 free herbs also the birds nests which have the seeds in them can be crushed so they sell for 1k! and they are an ingrediant for sarabrews also tree roots are a secondary ingrediant for a potion. =D hope that helped :P

There's a diffrence between working on cooking or flecthing and farming. Farming, you have to need to wait for your plants to grow which can pretty much take like half an hour and sometimes you dont get alot of exp from harvesting them. Cooking and flecthing is way!! faster then farming, so those skills will be quicker, i dont complain about those skills having problems! I will pretty much perfer to work on those skills then farming but you know... it was a quest requirement so i did it.

best money makers on farming : herbs, the seeds seem expensive, but you get more herbs which is more money than the seed is worth. Do ranarr or snapdragon they all grow 70-75 minutes. Good xp: all trees, woodcutting and fruit

well i only got 63 from quests and it took me about 2 weeks from 55 to 63. but i also didnt farm alot so it all depends on how many trips you can get in a day and it depends on what level you are.

well. doing all 3 you can probably say you'll lose money. unless your able to herb chain farm 4 or 5 times before tree farming. but herbs is a definate for farming. around 70 or so if your ust looking for farming xp i wouldnt bother doing herbs. if you don't wanna lose money in farming, then i'd do herbs in your farming runs.

I'm a level 75 skiller with 53 farming and at the moment im planting trees only at falador, varrock, and camelot.

Im planting herbs such as toadflax, irit, and thats it.

I also plant sweetcorn seeds.

How much will it cost if i keep on buying willow seeds and planting them at varrock,falador,camelot, (im going to buy all my seeds anyway) and plant herbs to make up the money, from 53-99?

well. trees take around 5 hours(depending on what trees you do) herbs take around an hour. so acouple of herb runs will make up money for the trees(if you do irits till 56, then do kwuarm) the sweetcorn seeds won't really affect your cash flow. you should come out positive, at the msost you'll break around even.

I am trying to get to level 65 farming from 17 because that is the level you need for While Guthix Sleeps. Do you have idea of how long that may take? And if you do not know, does anyone else?

well, here are the optinos for how long it'll take:

1.)if your willing to do the best trees and fruit trees, then it'll take around...2-3 weeks. but im not totaly sure because farming is a random xp skill.

2.)doing the best herbs to make money will take around a month or so.

3.)if you add herbs to the fruit and tree run, then it'll cut down some time in gaining xp.

well, the answer to your first question is: yes you can. simply check the health of the tree(if you didnt already) then chop it down and use a spade on it to dig it up.

Your second question: honestly, if you are a farmer then i'd keep it. they are usable at lvl 83 for a spirt seed, but it will be awhile before you can use it. even though i'm not the farmer person, i'd still keep it.

well. there isnt an exact price to the method i said in the vid. it is alot of money though, i recommend u have a way to make money while u wait to farm ur trees. i'd say u will definetly lose 5m+ doing trees.

best chain for me, start lumby & plant, tele varrock plant, go to tree near ge and tele to gnome stronghold plant, tele fally plant, run up to taverley from fally plant, tele lumby and wait until they grown , remember pay ppl baskets to mind em, non the less nice guide 5/5

basiclly just get all the farming supplys from the farming stores placed by the major farming patches(ex:draynor) also get acouple f watering cans filled and around like 20 compost will do for the first few levels. get potatoes and plant them in alloment patches. also raking weeds the first few lvls will give decent xp. any other questions, comment back or pm

there is no set time as its wat you plat and how often you check your plants. honestly. i'd say over a month if your an average player. but you'd be losing a good amount of cash if you want 75 as fats as possible. im sorry im not able to tell you how long, but if i new i would tell you. farming is jsut a skill where its unpredictable.
