I just finished reading The Seven Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton. It is very touching and spiritually enriching experience. Thanks for this video which gives me an opportunity to hear the voice of Thomas Merton. Indeed, as Merton commented on St. Bernard, love is taking a well thought action to express it to one's beloved. As a married man, I am taking this action on a daily basis in the way I love my wife. Hey Philip! Good to hear from you again. I think we're all on the way to "saintly sinner-hood" (I'm Lutheran and like what Luther has to say about humanity: "simul justus et peccator" -- we are all at the same time saints and sinners.)
