OH man I remember those Rose Bowl days. I was 12 the inaugural season. I remember at the beginning and end of each half, going by the tunnel to see Cobi and the other guys, all the while being smashed by the throngs of ppl trying to do the same
Mauricio Cienfugos and Cobi Jones are my idols! I actually remember going to the Rose Bowl and always sitting right where the players entered and I few times actually talked to Mauricio and Cobi and told them to go out there and score and every time I would get a smile or a thumbs up in acknowledgement. I have always loved when they both played together they always made these amazing plays,i always trusted them out on the field.Cobi and Mauricio deserve the recognition becuz they are legends!
LA needs another Cienfuegos and definetly another Cobi Jones. Maybe this second half of the 2009 season, Beckham and Donovan will grow some balls and play with their heart...
yes man to this day i still consider Cienfuegos a legend...he is so underrated and Cobi is also a legend...they were the dream team...in the galaxy
