@blackbird309 Actually I can run the game well and make it look better than this but back then some weird my pc lagged more for some reason so I had to keep the settings down a bit and my graphics card is nvidia geforce g210 it's not the best but it can run oblivion on ultra setting with ini tweaks and 15 to 30 fps on average so for some reason it improved by itself.

personally, i believe intel to be better (only because ATI is my most hated company!).

but do yourself a favour, stick to the dual cores for now, in a year or two you may need faster dual cores or even a quad core, but right now, a quad core gives no better performance than your standard dual core.

my CPU is AMD Athlon X2 6000+. cheap compared to quad core, easier to install than those bastard intel CPU's, and also gives me good enough performance to run the best games out now.

gts-sli will be more powerful in most situations but i would get two gtxs or just the one....becaus 1 will run most games at great settings and there is allways the option for sli then and to be honest unless you have xeons the rest of your pc wont keep up for a while :P bare in mind that you should match your components

And tell me what fps you are getting? I just ordered my GTX and want to guague if i should get 2 more 19" widescreens or one 22"+ widescreen monitor

? not if you use alot of programs that run along a horizontal timeline...or if you do any media work which happens to be my career. Nearly every program i use from maya, premier to ableton live to even photoshop works better if you have 2 monitors even if its just to keep all the tools and bars of your main editing space.

Good, actually- it's a high-end AGP machine. If you wanna play some recent games- look for the latest AGP ATI card- it's actually pretty mid-end, and will let you play a bunch of games- like Oblivion or S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

FYI, CRT monitors have a better picture then LCD screens do, its just that CRTs take up alot more space, and stuff.

as to commenting the video, im jealous of ur rig, but i can say oblivion still looks awsome with my 7900GSKO-2GB RAM and AMD athlon X2. Sure i may not be able to have AA on with HDR since ovbiously nvidia cards besides the 8800 cant do it since hte drivers... but the res makes the jaggys smaller so i dont mind them much :)

There's a special patch for ATI cards that allows AA and HDR to work, as for the 8800 GTX you have to disable AA in game and force it through the NV control panel.
