The Terrans from starcraft have nothing to do with earth there ancestors were sent away on 4 massive prisson ships that went off course and crashed in the region of space near both the Protoss and the Zerg. Earth has no idea they even exist and they couldn't care less about earth it's just some old story to them. If they met earthlings now it would not go over well and earth would not belive the storys of the protoss or the zerg.

I thought The Dominion was exlied from earth, which I thought was shown in the first part of the terren part of the story mode of Brood Wars, It seemed like they knew who the guys from earth was. Anyway I never desided to finish the story mode so I really don't know the ending of Brood Wars lol. Protoss destroyed other planets that the Terrans had, and the Terran aren't "lost" from Earth, otherwise the UED wouldn't be there. The Terran are just humans sent out to colonize that sector of space, which is where the Zerg and Protoss were first, and which is why the Confederacy and the Dominion came into play (since they are so far away from Earth).

Earth is very very far away from anything that happens in starcraft. and it would take any enemy many many many years to get there and would only take the time to destroy it because they really hate humans so much they won't focus on the battlefront.

In terms of the storyline of the games, Earth being destroyed wouldnt fit at the begining of a Starcraft film, which would invariably start at the begining of the Starcraft story.

The same old main characters plus two new ones and as for the enemy it would be zerg and protoss but the protoss are divided. some are on their own to stop the zerg at any cost and to take down anyone or anything that stands in their way while the others go with the humans to fight the zerg together so there will be fights between protoss and protoss as well as terran vs terran because not everyone has the same belief on how to settle with the situation of earths destruction

True... Starcraft used alot of WH ideas, but the vids are all cut from Starcraft vids... StarCraft GHOST Opening Cinematic, StarCraft2 Cinematic Trailer (which was possibly Tychus Findlay suiting up), Zerg Reveal, and a SC Ghost clip that I saw on Youtube somewhere...
