  • Thumbs up if you watch MJ highlight videos at 4 in the morning

  • Wow, now I can understand why Rodman hated utah fans so much, besides just classifying them based off mormonism lol.

  • Definitely the loudest crowd in NBA history. Saw it live and nothing has ever compared. Nothing. Ever.

  • damn they wer fucking screaming so loud at the end u would of thought they won the nba finals

  • You know some idiot's gonna reach and say, "JORDAN AIN'T CLUTCH DAWG" because he missed the 3 :|

  • I was lucky to have seen this live. It was an amazing game, probably the best game I've ever seen in my life. Stockton, Malone, Jordan and Pippen were all unbelievable, but nobody talks much about the other guys; Jeff Hornecek, Steve Kerr, Tony Kukoch... Those guys played great ball too. I know it's been said before, but you really don't see intensity like this in games anymore.

  • THIS WAS A GREAT GAME !

  • "In your face, Marv!"

  • I got nostalgia

  • The NBA needs to go back to NBC with that them music and Marv Albert

  • Marv is screaming on the top of his lungs at the end and you can't hear shit he's saying

  • That was a great win for the jazz

  • YEAHHHH! You left the NBC intro on. That brought me back. =) Thank you

  • 00:19 ...green brim hat lol

  • im from utah and wow look how good they where

  • im glad i was 2 years old wen this was happeing and not watching basketball yet cuz ppl who didnt like the bulls it had to be annoying to see them running the 90's

  • Watch the referee at 8:07

  • MJ was fouled at 9:10.

  • 9:17 BEST BLOCK EVER

    tough call on MJ...

  • These Mormons are crazy, man.

  • @saiyahog840 Its actually like 10 families. Each guy has like 100 wives and 500 kids

  • epic battle!!

  • IF JORDAN WOULD HAVE STAYED IN BASEBAL JAZZ WOULD HAVE 2 RINGS

  • This has to be the loudest crowd in NBA history. You can tell Marv Albert is screaming as loud as he can, but you still can't hear him.

  • Malone and Stockton-Ahhh the memories..Bet they could beat Lebron James and Dwayne Wade....

  • those mormons can sure scream

  • @Javy2727

damn it, I was gonna say that, lol

apparently they're not allowed outside on Sundays, so times like these are their chances to let it all out haha

  • great game!

  • Some of those shots was just ridiculous.

  • It would have been hilarious had that last Jordan three rattled in!

  • awesome game

  • watching this game I"m glad the NBA changed their rules to encourage easier scoring and discourage physical interaction between combatants. All that intense defense just leads to hard feelings and a bunch of guys losing their cool due to their heightened competitiveness. This put the emphasis too much on the ecstasy of winning and agony of losing instead of where it should be, guys being able to get open perimeter shots and basically uncontested drives to the basket. Thank you David Stern

  • @farneyblakeley respect your point of view but this is what competition is about even today in key matchups between teams referees acknowledge that and let players go at it more physically, just sayin these touch fouls and flagrant 1s and 2s are a waste of time let them play more physical, look up the game Bulls vs Rockets 98 Jordan 45 Barkley 35 and they went at it and nobody would've liked it any different

  • @farneyblakeley im gonna take that as a dumbass remark... are you SERIOUS. look at the score from this game, and look at how intense it was start to finish. the nba these days is a JOKE sucking on kobe and lebrons nuts.

  • @Kito343 I'm going to take you for a dumbass, no I wasn't serious, thanks

  • you can still feel the energy of that game today!! wow what a finish by utah! Jordans shot rimmed out. imagine if it had stayed in!

  • Interesting game

  • aun recuerdo esta serie...INOLVIDABLE!!!!

Stockton, Malone, Pippen, Jordan y Rodman....una generacion dorada

  • Comment removed

  • Love that finger roll at 2:40. MJ is sick wit it.

  • wow that was fuckin epic man.

  • I'll never forget this game. When Bryon dunked at the end, I jumped up so high at my friend's house, that I punched the ceiling.

  • what a pass at 9:28

  • Absolutely beautiful pass by Stockton at 7:30. This game was so intense!

  • what the hell man, jordan did NOT travel at 2:44 !!!! what's wrong with Marv !!

  • @helenlundeberg Marv Albert is not an official.

  • I remember that Jordan 3-pointer attempt in the end. I didn't expect him to make it since he just threw it up so hurriedly. Oh well, we did take the next 2 games.

  • That crowd get loud Jesus Christ

  • I remember this game it brings back alot of memories. That NBA FINALS was a classic!!!

  • The officiating was horrendous in this game. The refs obviously bet on Utah.

  • Jordan didn't foul Stockton on that block!

  • @jeanrollan - I agree, clean block.

  • @jeanrollan

that's a very perfect block. stop the layup on the board

  • lolz I had to pause the vi for a few seconds just cauze the noise was nonstop.

  • fucking ball in the end...in and out....

  • It's funny. This was the lowest scoring game in NBA Finals history and yet it's probably one of the most exciting. Proof that you don't need a ton of points to produce an amazing game.

  • "Each man with one thing in common"

The major difference: one chokes (Malone), the other doesn't (Jordan)

  • That was a great steal and outlet pass by Stockton!

  • @jeanrollan - Stockton's strip changed the game completely.

  • This was one of the greatest finals games I never saw! I was at work. But seeing it now on Youtube, I could feel how intense it was! MJ Goat!

  • 3:47 for a second there I thought Marv Albert said ''technical dribble'' lol when he really said ''protecting the dribble''

  • 8 :34- 8: 40 Jordan breakaway dunk gives me goose bumps. MJ 4ever......peace

  • russel gettin his ass dick by mj he really think he can shut mj down

  • Good god that crowd is AMAZING. I have never, ever seen a crowd that frenzied before. Sitting in the lower bowl in a crowd like that, you can't even hear yourself yelling at the top of your lungs.

  • no matter how much point MJ going to get, it seems like MJ always comes big in 4th quarter.

  • 9:57 that was a foul by Malone on Steve Kerr. look at how he slapped Kerr on the face. where the heck were the refs?!

  • we all know wat game was next in this series!!!!

  • this was THE SERIES of the 90s man... games 4 thru 6 all came down to the final seconds i miss 90s nba

  • ...Look at Tim Dohngoney he did some time in jail for riggin basketball games

  • U couldn't even hear Marv Albert during the closing moments. the Delta Center used to explode back then.

  • i watched this games live and i never saw a better series after that.what a exciting final...both teams deserved standing ovations !!!

  • Dude I watched the whole game and the refs were helping the Jazz out

  • there is no such thing as refs helping teams. refs make mistakes and sometimes miss calls or make calls which doesn't make sense.

  • That was a terrible call on MJ at 9:18...MJ got all ball with that block on Stockon...People always say that the refs help MJ out well thats wrong...The ref made it in his mind to call a foul when MJ went for the block...The refs were helping out the Jazz in this one cuz the Bulls had this game won

  • What about where Stock got clearly fouled by Harper when he buried his 3? That would've been 1 extra point the Jazz missed out on and the Jazz gained a freebie when Stock made 1/2 after that foul. It all evened out, the Jazz made the plays down the stretch and the Bulls didn't.

  • 4:30 wher they goin ?? y they let kukoc to shoot ?? ? Ha,

  • Man, look at that fadeaway at 8:15.

    Jeez Louise.

That shit is ridiculous on so many levels.

  • what was the cut-out of at 6:25

  • I am from China, and I am studying in Canada right now. I am a huge fan of Stockton!!! I wish I can see him someday. Anyone knows where I can find him . Thanks !!

  • the game is the best in the series :-) so many moves

  • Jordan pinned Stockton's shot against the backboard, no foul.

  • The last shot by MJ was like last shot of Game 4 against Indiana in 1998 or last shot of Game 1 against LA in 1991.

    UNLUCKIEST! Aaarrgghh!

  • mj's will is un explainable after he got it stolen from stockton he ran back on d for the block .

    THAT WASN'T A FOUL

  • Bison Dele A.K.A. Brian Williams was a good mid season acquisition for Chicago back 97'. A big man who blocked shots, put the ball on the floor, rebound, and score.

  • yeah RIP Brian Williams. I loved that guy in this series. Cant remember which game it was but he went right up in Malone's face.. and pussy ass Mailman backed down obviously - cos it was somebody his own size

  • baldheadkid: I know what game that was. 1998 NBA finals game 6

  • Stockton is the one who save the whole team at last !!!

  • is he better than Isaiah?

  • the bulls took 97' 98' championships cause utah didn't had any nba finals experience before,if they did .i believe those 2 there will be theirs ,no doubt

  • anyone knows who's voice is at 01:01??who announces the game

  • Perfect play by the Jazz point-guard !!! One shot, One steal, and One pass !! Stockton forever!!!

  • Beautiful feed by Stockton @ 7:33 ^_^

  • IMO better than "the flu game"

  • nba finals with mj is like a movie... n mj is the actor

  • well said. The NBA today is like sh** ! exept watching LeBron play

  • Interestingly enough, the 1997 and 1998 Finals had a total of nine of the 12 combined games decided by five points or less, and six of the nine went to the Bulls. So looking back, had a few things gone the other way, Utah would have won one or even both of those titles.

  • Wow. Thanks for the post. This was such a good series. Of course, as a Jazz fan I wish it would have gone the other way, but MJ was unbelievable.

  • U would have got the ring if not for Mailman chocking in game six of '98

  • The Mailman choked both years. Game 1 in 97 when he missed those free throws at the end. Game 5 in 97 when he refused to foul out after Ostertag put them within 1 point of the bulls which could've gave them a chance to win the game still after blowing a 16 point lead.

  • @TheRatedIX7 true, they should have won the championship.

  • That was a classic pass by Stockton to Malone at the end.

  • Go Jazz! I remember watching this. Thanks for uploading this video.

  • WOW That Utah Crowd is loud! They could barely hear Marv Albert's voice at the end lol! great series!

  • MJ just completely owned stockton on that breakaway near the end the game even though it was a foul. lol

  • Watching this video, it seems that the Bulls are winning by 40... anyway, i loved that Jazz team

  • thats why MJ is the GOAT, even that missed trey at the end was phenominal, for all the plays when some thought MJ shouldnt have got the call, that call on Stockton wasnt a foul, that was a clean 2 hand block

  • All ball!!!!

  • MJ almost made that last three. That, and the last shot he took in Game 4 at Indiana in the 98 ECF. The ball did pretty much everything except stay down.

  • I agree!!!!

  • Does Kukoc ever miss??

  • Damn those NBC intros are mythical.. Look how Michael palms the ball at 8:34. This game was the wake up call for the Bulls.

  • I still get goose bumps when MJ is running on that break away @ 8:40. I just knew the Bulls were going to win, and I remember being pissed after they lost that game

  • @jaboo82681 it gave me goose bumps as well

  • Jazz didn't stand a chance at the series though with Bavetta reffing! Did you see him slap Jordan on the ass at the 8:08 mark? Bavetta has a mancrush on Jordan

  • You're crazy!

  • Brian Williams was a fierce dunker...damn

  • I noticed that! Damn I miss seeing him play! Sad to know that he is presumed dead too. :(

  • Man, they don't make NBA Finals like that any more...look at those fans. I fell asleep in the 1st quarter of each game of these last Finals. The word "Pathetic" comes to mind AND it was the two teams the NBA loves to showcase the MOST Celtics, Lakers.... Zzzz Zzzzz ZZzzzzz snooze-fest.

  • Greatest game in Jazz history, I'm so glad you put it up!! There were NO quality video's of this game anywhere online

  • thanks for the kind words...I'm just trying to do my part to help keep MJ's memories alive forever

    spread the word

    more Bulls, MJ to come

  • Keep bringing them man! I'm reliving all of these moments. The Bulls were a great team, not fancy at all but great team defense and of course MJ and the great team player that was Scottie Pippen.

  • I love your games, channel. GREAT

  • The last two stretches of the game were spurts (Chicago was up 71-66 with a 10-1 run on Jordan's Breakaway dunk and Stockton's three pointer sparked a 12-2 run to win the game. Scary!!!!

  • although this was a losing game, but this really showed MJ's killer instinct, he was just unstoppable no matter what defense on him. G.O.A.T

  • 'The Utah Jazz have defeated the Chicago Bulls'. Marv Albert is the voice of the NBA finals. Marv, Van Gundy, replace Mark Jackson with Bill walton would help raise the NBA finals ratings. MJ last 3 point attempt was a beauty, going to his right and fading away even when he missed, the shot still look awesome and still had a chance of going in.

  • U gotta love the NBC intro's, there's nothing like it, much like MJ playing..There's nothing that compares.

I hope ur considering uploading game 5, even though it's on YT already i hope u post ur own.

    Thanks

  • damn i remember this when i was little it still hurts to watch

  • Oh it hurts when you have a five point lead and you score just two points in the last two minutes and they come back to win.

  • yeah man that game was right in the bulls hands and it slipped away

  • Thank you once again.

  • Thanks for posting the whole series.

  • The lefty finger roll off the fake in the post against Russell is amazing, as is the behind-the-backboard jumper and the dribble jab step, between the legs, pump-fake jumper at the top of the key. The jumper as he comes across the lane where he raises up really high is incredible. There'll never be anyone better. 34 years old here.

  • yea amazing jump on that shot. he was definitely slowing in general in the second 3peat but he keeps his'jump shoot' jumping ability when he was old. about the tenacity of defense, it was crazy that the bulls has two guys like that, pippen was if not better, just almost as good as mj on those coming from behind blocks, although mj's timing on block is incomparable.

  • That breakaway "foul" by Jordan was shown on two replays to be a clean block, and Walton/Goukas were adamant that no foul should have been called there. It's amazing the ground MJ covered there, and it shows his tenacity. How many stars today would make that play with a speedy PG already off to the races with a head start rather than sit there and bitch at the refs for a call? Maybe Lebron...

  • from the normal angle is a foul because of mj's body slamming on to stockton's. but yes indeed the block is really clean and it happened before the body contact, i dont know much about how they would call that, it is a tough one to decide.

  • It amazes me that anyone could be concerned about that call, considering how many calls Chicago got in general, and in particular against the Jazz in both Finals.

But then again, I suppose that is convenient dissembling and obfuscation -- i.e. "Look! The Bulls was screwed!"

    Laughable.

  • That's true, it could've went as a no call but oh well.

  • don't bring Kobe into this section please!!!

  • Yeah, that missed 3 at the end by Jordan was heartbreaking. It's amazing how he even almost hits the game-winners he misses lol. That reminds me of the shot that rimmed out against Indiana in the '98 ECF after Reggie hit that 3 to put the Pacers up. Just incredibly close.

  • a couple of things stand out:

rodman's touch pass to longley for the dunk,

mj undressing russell on a few occasions,

    stockton's huge 3,

and the call on the breakaway layup. didn't think that was a foul.

you weren't kidding about that utah crowd. utah and seattle had some crazy home court advantage

  • the breakaway should've been a no call and the pass of all-time possibly, Stockton to Malone.

  • i remember this game, i thought bulls had it wrapped up when mike put em up 5 late in the 4th.. i still don't really understand how utah was able to recover from that..

  • I don't either, but Stockton saved his best for last.

  • that three at the end is a fadeaway three and it almost went in again!!too bad. even an off night for mj, he would always come back in the 4th quarter.

  • oh I know...that shot was halfway down

  • @popeyeisgood goosebumps down my back everytime I replay that fadeaway 3. how sweet it would have been had he tied the game with that 3. even though it was half way down
