I think it is a towel, or it might be a shirt, can't quite remember. But we needed to strap the camera down to the cheese plate and there was no way to use the ratchet straps on the tiny t2i body. So We decided to ghetto rig it with some gaffer tape but we didnt want to leave a sticky mess on the camera so we wrapped it in with that and used the tape over it
