i had a guy from a hockey camp i went to do something just like this with the end of his stick cept he did a bunch of other things, not the jumping thing though, the camp was robby glantz speed skating and he would always do it at the end of the practice except he could never get the last part where you hit it. it was very impressive nonetheless though.
