  • @TheSilverboy2011 CHECK FOR A LEAKING FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR OR A GROUNDED FUEL INJECTOR CIRCUIT,,,,,

  • How much did that process cost in terms of parts and labor?

  • wow your videos are the only ones i refer too, your like a encyclopedia of the auto-mechanic answers, keep up the good work, i just bought a tool from your link, i remember you saying it helps you continue to keep making these videos, so i'll be ordering alot more for sure/ plus you already show us how to use them keep up the great videos dwayne

  • The new lower intake gaskets are green from GM. Have not seen aftermarket yet. Those old ones had some miles. Fuel trim would have pointed to this too.

  • can oxygen sensors triger this codes.. i have 07 avalanche new body style.. check intake leaks and replaced maf sensor.. fuel pressure is at 60.. also good .. now im down to think its oxygen sensors.... any help?

  • po174 explorer

  • Does your smoke machine use shop air as the supply or does it require an external Nitrogen bottle?

  • Man I wish I had a nickel for every time I saw one of those Gen III motors leak intake gaskets.

  • Great video. Is it possible rent one of these machines?

  • i cant imagine y the intake would smash like that unless put on wrong or bad product

  • i love your videos, every time i watch one i learn something new.

  • I was wondering if there is some "poor man smoke machine" schematics, because I can't afford spending thousands of dollars on one. I googled a lot but didn't find anything reliable.

remove the .. from the h..tt..p

  • you can use propane or carb cleaner ( carb cleaner is less safe since it coats surfaces and could ignite) however you just spray alittle around area's that could be pulling in outside air (intake area's, vaccum lines, etc) until the engine revs.. once you get it reving from spraying in one spot off and on you know where your leak is. i think "realfixesrealfast" have a video on using propane to find a leak. Also "Ericthecarguy"channel has one as well on how to use carb cleaner method. cheers

  • Nice video, you work methodically. Please don't forget us shade tree guys, who probably won't have that fancy smoke machine. How would a spray can of carb cleaner worked?

  • @binnsh

If a leak is very bad the engine idle will change when you spray crab clean in areas where it is leaking vacuum. sometimes a leak that will cause a lean code on a newer car with a mass airflow sensor is not big enough to cause a idle change when you spray added fuel around the air leak though.

  • Is it normal for the intake gasket to ware out like that or is it a symptom of some other part failing causing the engine to run hotter?

  • "Thumbs up" on that glove trick, have to "hand" it to you, good vid!

  • Well done!

Where can i buy one of these smokers?

Can you also do cooling systems with this?

    Thanks

    -Tim

  • 5:37 "So, all the evidence is LETTUCE to the problem." Hahaha.

  • @sweetlikeADAM Dumbass.

  • @AutoTechHectory Your ass is dumb, dumb ass.

  • Nice video

  • Thanks for another great video!

  • LOL, I guess incense wouldn't work? Great vid!

  • Every time I watch your videos I learn something new. Thanks

  • great i wish i could one day be as good as you guys thanks for ur videos...

  • very informative. iv'e never even heard of smoke testing. thanks for the info

  • Wow, thats alot better than spaying the engine with carb cleaner and waiting to here it rev up to find the leak. Are those smoke machines expensive?

  • @losercomet A good one is about $1000 to $2000 Doller's!
