  • Dizzi and hang drum put me out of this world and time!!! Amazing songs! Once you came to Brazil let me know, will be a big plasure to watch you!!! Cheers and congratulations!

  • So awesome. Keep up the great work.

  • Nice! Too bad you can't play the hang and the dulcimer at once. You could contact a hang drum ace like Dante Bucci (just look him up here on youtube!), who even adds a bit on top of your skill with the hang, while you are an unmatched ace on the hammered dulcimer. A duet of the two of you would probably blast everyone off his or her feet...

  • I love the hang drum but you have its spirit. Beautiful sound. Words can't do it justice.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • nice : )

  • Very talented, never saw a performance like this. Kudos to you.

  • Please tell us where you can get one of these!

  • The PANart original designers are currently taking a break but are taking a waiting list, and so is the Pantheon Halo company. I've found CAISA from London are available (bellperc.com), and other models from Bali Steel Pan (bali steelpan.com).

  • I like the turn-around.... I understand those things have a different scale? on the other side? but anyways, the timing on it was great, like, 'hold on a sec, I'm turning it around....'

  • Very well played!

  • I love it!

  • what's the going rate on one of those? 5 grand or so?

  • souds good hehehe

  • It to me Just Looks like Its a convex steel drum with a hole in the middle for the sound to travel but they are very interesting.

  • Read the description and you'll find out;)

  • Bloody amazing!! Only wish I had a musical bone in my body:(

  • Whoa - that is SO cool! I could just sit and jam on an instrument like that for hours! I love your hammered dulcimer playing, too! I recently watched the movie August Rush with my daughter, age 15. Seeing the boy play the guitar by banging on the strings reminded me of hammered dulcimers, which I told my dd about. Now she has actually seen one, on your videos. She loves your music too. I think I need to get my 12-string guitar out and scrounge up a couple of mallets and try playing it that way.

  • bravo

  • the girl on the video is beautiful

  • absolutely wonderful!

  • looks like a blast to play

  • That was awesome! I had to jump on the djembe and jam with you like I was sitting right there. Thanks!

  • nice one Dizz.

    Love it

  • wooooow :D

  • this could possibly ever so slightly rival the great ANDI STEILLL!!!!!! but i might be mistaken, does anyone agree or disagree with me here?

  • Dammit! Just when I am done learning new instruments, along comes THIS! Guess I gotta get me one of those cuz that is the coolest instrument ever! And you truly rock!

  • Wow Diz, your dulcimer and djembe background really translates over to the hang beautifully. Unfortunately, 30 years of playing bass didn't help me as much : )

    Keep hangin'.

  • Lovely playing! I can hear the influence of your hammered dulcimer experience in this - it is an interesting blend of styles! Thank you for posting this - I look forward to more. I'll have some audio files posted of some of my Hang tunes within a week or so...perhaps you'll give them a listen, too!

  • Very nice dizzi :)

  • Totally awesome!!!!!! I'd seen one or two hang drum videos but didn't take the time to watch or listen. Silly me! Now I have to go find them again -- at least until YOU produce another one! More! More!

  • Amazing!

  • Nice one Dizzi! Great tune! Lovin' it!

  • Too amazing, thanks for sharing.

  • Amazing musical instrument! You play it beautifully. What is the history of the hang drum? I never knew about it. Maybe you could write about it in your description for us.

    Thank you.

  • Same here, I've never heard of such a thing although it sounds and looks like an inverted steel drums.

  • I'm a music tutor and this is the first time I've ever heard of a hang drum. You've got me interested in this instrument now! Great job and it sounds amazing
