And seriously this video of comparing islamic poses to yoga is ridiculous. The quran does not talk about the importance of breathing while holding those poses. Instead the hadiths talk about prayer while doing the islamic prayer not breathing. You don't get the full benefits of Yoga if you don't breath while holding those poses. If you are speaking or saying a prayer you are not getting the full benefit.
I find it interesting that mohammed never taught yoga to his followers. Everyone in the world knows how great yoga is, and with such great attributes, and if islam is suppose to be the word of god, why wasn't yoga mentioned in the quran itself. I know it was mentioned in the Vedas, Gita, and Sikh holy book, but none of the abrahamic faiths.
