I discovered this from Degrassi too. Whether or not you like the show, they have a really good soundtrack. I've discovered a few great bands from looking up the songs on there which led to me to other great bands. If you truly like the artist, you wouldn't care how fans were made but that they're gaining more supporters.

@charlotte6368 Not really. It's about growing up. The guy is singing about how he can no longer dream about becoming something that's out of reach, since he has to grow up and get a job now. So he has to trade in everything that reminds him of a free fun life, to become a working stiff.
