Nick Jonas Diabetes Poem

Hey, i just made another diabetes video to thank our mums and are parents and stuff....its on my page under Thanks Mum, diabetes! and, since you were supporting me....:D i thought you'd wanna watch it xx

When i read this poem, it brought tears to my eyes..because just like Nick i suffer from diabetes, although i have for nearly 9 years and have always been positive about its now that Nick has made other people aware that people care about it!

This poem means so much to me, and on my page of have a poem about my fight too (: Thankyouu, cause not alot of non-diabetics care unless they know a close one with the disease (:

@heartCOOP aw thank you so much! You don't know how much that means. To know I touched someone by my poem is just an amazing feeling. And yes, before Nick introduced diabetes to me, I thought you got diabetes because of eating too much sugar. So Nick has touched many lives by spreading awareness. And again thank you so much! : )

Yeaah, i used to get teased in primary school, kids would say 'you got so fat you had to give yourself a needle' and i would go home crying....because ive got type 1 so you know its not the case, mum would just say that i have special blood (: which i do...but now im nearly 15 thats kinda corny haha. But the thing is im not even fat im average (: so thanks for supporting the disease it means so much.

@heartCOOP aw, I hate they way people judge people like that. Its aggravates me. And your welcome! I wrote three of my senators from my state about passing the health care bill for more money for diabetes research and they wrote back! 2 out of 3 was for voting yes so I was so excited. And know it feels worth it cause the senators passed it! So yes, don't let people like that get you down. If you ever need anyone to talk to, I will be here.
