We have 4 different 'elementary" schools which are K-6th, then middle which is 7-8 and high school which is 9-12. all the elementary kids meet all the others in the area when they get to the middle school. so not only do you have to go to a new school, you meet hundreds of kids you never knew so its a little overwhelming.

I went to the same school from first grade though high school and there was only one class for each grade, like Dustin said. The kindergarten is now a part of that school, too. When I was in middle and high school, I would have to walk on a sidewalk circling the playground to get to some of my classes. And sitting in some classroom, you could hear the little kids outside playing. It was completely normal to us, though.

Frm Philly when I was n school (graduated n 09) we had 3 schools elementary(k-5) middle(6-8) high(9-12) now it goes frm k-8 at most schools then high school 9-12 is still the same but we have hundreds of schools catholic, charter, special admission, and private. In elementary we had math, science, english,and music we switched rooms and teachers 4 science and music.

Where I live you go to elementary school which is K-8 and then high school which was 9-12. For the elementary school there were two teachers for each grade. And you were assigned one of the two for the year and you covered 4 subjects for that year. But one day of the week they switched out the last period class with a different one

In Australia pretty much everyone has Kindergarten to year 6 and then High school was year 7 to year 12. Some people left in year 10 because the final two years are not compulsory.
