Cicly Daniels and Betsy Morgan in the National Tour? I would be all for it if Disney were to relase one! I think Cicly made an awsome Ursula. I saw Besty in the Nation Tour of Les Miserable. She stole the show! I would incredible if she played Ariel again. I just adore her. I'd also be up for Michelle Pruiett as Ariel. I think this was Cicly's first time on as a lead. I know it was Betsy first night being able to play Ariel. They must have been jumping out of their skin with happiness. :)

I love Cicily Daniels, I might be biased since we are friends but she indeed is immensely talented and I for one am super glad the Disney saw fit to have the understudies flex their muscles and give them and US the privilege of seeing some of the most talents folks on Broadway who are the "support" cast. I am team Cicily Daniels all the way.

@BubblegumPopMusic13 Well here's an interesting fact. Pat Carroll attended the Opening Night performance of this show. She aboslutley loved Sherrie Rene Scott as Ursula! So Sherrie must have done something for the orginal actress to have enjoyed it so much. If you don't believe me, there's a video right here on Youtube. It's The Little Mermaid on Broadway Premire Part 1. I don't know if Ms. Carroll saw any of the other actresses though. Jodi Benson also loved Sierra Boggess as Ariel.

Have they even said they are doing a national tour?? I hope they do ... but it's been a while since it closed on Broadway and they haven't said anything about it ... I hope they do one though ... I'd LOVE to see it on stage ... live. Just saw the Mary Poppins tour and loved it

I'm not even sure if there WILL be a national tour. It hasn't been talked about in the news since its launch was announced in 2009, and it's supposedly supposed to start this fall, but we haven't heard anything about it (not even the cast). Plus, all the major theaters I checked don't have it scheduled. Something tells me it was maybe canceled or moved up.

My only gripe with Cicily is that she did the big NO NO of looking to make sure she is on the trapdoor. if your going to do that.. try not to be obvious. But she is my favorite performer of the role on Broadway
