I know Pendulum had to change at some point, but imagine how awesome it would be if they made one last single in the style of their Hold Your Colour era stuff?
The reason you believe that they have gone 'commercial' is that their style has altered as their style evolved, if they had been making the same style music all this time you would be VERY bored with them by now as it literally would all sound the same. Quit complaining, if you dont like it, shut the fuck up and has positive comments on what you do like, and hopefully you will see past your narrow-minded opinionated hatred :|

I've listed to Pendulum since their older stuff, and i didn't agree with their "In Silico" album, that was way too popish and made them sound like a fucking indie band. However "Immersion" was RALLY good, was a great way of combining the HYC and In Silico sounds. Yes, it was a bit mainstream but it still sounded good. They also put on a sick live show, seen them twice and it's epic. The ONE criticism i have is that their mainstream-ness attracts alot of hipster faggots to their live shows.
i agree alot of musicians go too commercial and the music looses its value but i dont really know about Penudlum.. I like their older stuff aswell as the new stuff.. The way I see it Rob Swire is just making music the way he wants to cos thats what non commercial is about.. If he kept making dnb like this to make you guys happy, wouldnt that be "pleasing the masses"... Rob Swire is a well talented producer live with it and consider yourself lucky he bothered working on great tracks like this...

i hav 2 say they did change alot in thier 2nd album. my dad told me tht sum producer dude thort tht thier drum machine was an actual drummer. so the dude told them tht it wud be a gd idea if they used a real drummer. thts y they replaced another planet and still grey with blood sugar and axle grinder. bcus they wanted a real drummer in ther songs. and then from tht they changed and went all....dark. i think they shud but all the songs tht didnt make ne albums onto their fourth album
Not saying I hate their new stuff, it's just I liked their old stuff better. Which means, they need to revert to their old stuff. Because my opinion matters. But you gotta love the end of The Tempest...
