@Lotmeister - You're right; it's posted by chalomirof63 as SCTV, 1/16/81 - "GORDON LIGHTFOOT SINGS EVERY SONG EVER WRITTEN", and is a minute & 13 secs. Someone mentioned that Disney made them remove their songs when it was released on DVD. Not sure if that's true.

@nyr1994 Because networks (regular or cable) want immediate gratification with ratings. You hardly ever knew when SCTV was going to air so the comedy had time to grow.
