Acid house and classics in 1 room, Jungle n old skool D&B 92-98 in another room and Old Skool Hardcore 91-97 in 3rd room.
Basically all the tunes from Dalston Lane. Same old faces from back in the day -Billy Bunter, Krome n Time, Adrian Age, Vinyl Matt, Easy Mo, Pig Bag, Vibes, Ellis Dee, Jumping J Frost + more same vibes as back in the day :-) oi oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
NEXT LABRYNTH PARTY "JOSEPH & HE'S TECHNICOLOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY" ON SATURDAY 30TH APRIL 2011 @ HIDDEN VAUXHALL LONDON oi oiiiiiiiiiiiiiii come join the celebrations :-)
Crowland Road - Nut House was 'the' place back then, utterly mental with Jim the Musicman on the mic, Matthew B rocking my socks, steam pissing out the back doors and the biggest bass speaker you could have possibly got in a venue that size.
Crowland Raod was my first real illegal underground rave experience and came across it completely by chance because of a cancelled Sunrise or something. Will never forget it.
Apparently ~ found out ~ it was in Lordship Lane opposite WG tube by a coach station. Think they later built DoItAll or something there. Somethin else there now.
Really do believe that there is a HUGE gap in the market for over 35s. Somewhere to go, to dance, to luv this stuff all over again. No booze, no drunks, no aggression, no knives. Just folk who wanna luv this House all over again.
yeh i rember the place now .allways wondered why there was crowds of ppl trying to get into that building now i know.crap was watching a docu about labrynth they had alot of gang related stuff going on ,gangs squeezing them for monies ,,and ur right theres a huge gap for this stuff n i mean huge.
I remember Tyree Cooper and the whole Hip House scene. I was 15 at the time and used to race home on bike to tape the shows we have on (in South Africa can you believe!) on Fri pm's. Not surprised I went from that to reggae and then into the whole electronic scene: jungle, D&B. Techno, tech-house dj today!
LOL i'm there.... somewhere!!!! Was a regular at the 4 Aces Dalston too. Oh happy daze indeedy :o) Cheers for uploading it ~ i'm gettin acid flashbacks just from watching it. LMAO.
yeah now your talkin nut house crowland rd,smiley culture toastin, and them nutter dogs at the back every one terrifid theyd escape an that little kid flyin round the place. only 4 the head strong then it closed down an we all piled up to wood green then upto dungeons which again was a mad venue,ah those were the days my friend. me an my mates used to drive up from herne bay to go to all these.mental mental radio fuckin rental

It moved from Woodgreen to the Four Aces in Dalston in 1990.
This place was on Lordship Lane near the junction of Redvers Road.
They built on it now but it used to be a bingo hall.
