Depending on which factual study does a chemical analysis on it. The average joint has no less than double the chemicals that are harmful than a cigarette.

While it is true that joints have many more chemicals than a cigarette, noone knows if they're toxic or not. Scientists have no clue what most of them actually do, but they don't seem to affect anyone in a negative way.

Plus, smoke is not the only unhealthy factor in a cigarette. You forget that nicotine is the killer, not smoke.

While it's obviously not very smart to inhale smoke, it's far more healthy to inhale cannabis smoke than it is to inhale tobacco smoke.

Amongst the chemicals in both are Arsenic and Formaldehyde. One is basically rat poison and the other is to embalm the dead. This is what enters you system. Smoked or otherwise.

There's quite a difference between illegal street marijuana, grown and sold by ill-willed dealers, and properly grown biological marijuana. Assholes dip their product in whatever they can find to increase its potency.

I wouldn't be concerned so much with the yeast, the cost of brain cells alone keeps me from drinking. Cannabis keeps me functional within society and I use it both medicinally and recreationally. There are negative health effects cannabis, but there has been no pharmaceutical drug that compares to restoring my empathy and critical thought the way cannabis has and those effects are so minor to me by comparison and the benefits beyond that outweigh every alternative.
