No its a 3 into 1 that joins under the car floor..but the engine ran best with a special lcb manifold that split the outer and inner cylinders into 2 seperate exhaust systems
nah, you'll get plenty more than that. A friend has a swift tune 1460cc a series running a single 45 and he got 156bhp, you dhold be looking at 170+ depending on spec?
@vachief 310 scatter, mapped ignition, full house swiftune motor really. but then 1800cc will give a lot more torque, probably don't need to go mad on the spec?!
@burton76 ...I'm running stock compression with a Pierce head, 38 mm Weber and a euro-spec distributor. I plan on a Kent 270 cam. I've heard about those scatter cams, but they say they won't run under 2500 rpm...might be to radical for a street car, but cool none the less. lol
His dyno must not be calibrated !!!..I have been racing for over 25 years and have built alot of racing winning engines and anything more than 140 bhp is very good
thats an lcb isnt it not a 3 into 1?
on this it looks like the 2 outer headers go into 1 and connect to the centre header further down or am I hallucinating?

what cam duration r u running?
the 3 into 1 works well only with full race profiles, like 300-320!!

this engine runs one of my special cams its 324 inlet and 332 exhaust

the 3 into 1 should be ideal then or when u say ran best do u mean had more bottom end/ wider power band?

..Looks like someone spent a considerable amount of time on that motor. If I can get 100hp out of my 1800, I'll be happy.

@burton76 ..Yeah....but what cam was he running? I've been using the Burgess formulas for HP.
