  • Iron Giant brought me here.

  • @7babyboomer

There were so many great songs during the 50's and 60's. It is great that we can listen to

    them again on "You Tube".

  • This is the Trip Records rerecording. Recorded in 1975, from 16 Greatest Hits - Trip TOP LP 16-7.

  • The Beatles did a great version of this song for their Decca audition. Worth trying to find a copy.

  • Thumbs down...not then original...Sha Na Na could do better than these impostors...blame the WMG for keeping the real Atlantic recordings off of youtube

  • @baldur1377 No, but it is an authentic soundind cover, or other takin.

  • @baldur1377 No,you can hear the quality of the track and the instrumentation was recorded later than the 50's and I used to play guitar for them and the Lead singer is NOT Billy Guy.

  • this is a fake.

  • Searchin' ... gonna find you

  • this is horrible nock off of the coaster this was done to redneck style lmao jk

  • "Iron Giant"

  • This is the best version IMO. Im "Searchin'" for whoever did this cover. I wish the uploader had some more info on it.

  • OOOOhhhhhhhh!!!! That hard, driving BEAT. Now, I know why I used to, literally, experience "trimmers" when this song came on the radio!!!!

  • the lyrics to searchin

  • this is music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's music!!

  • it was recorded in '57 but this is not that version. Probably a re-record for legal reasons to be used on a mix disc. The drums are in stereo in this version, which would have been odd for a song in the fifties (maybe impossible?) Still great song though. I think the original is on here which is even better.

  • This would go well with a satirical commercial about the futility of trying to find Osama. I should make that!

  • Lmao! Tryna' find Osama? XD

  • Of course it would work better with, "gonna find HIM"!

  • @yourass117 The top leaders don't want to find him. It is all a stage show for the gullible public. He and our "leaders" are pals and buddies.

  • @yourass117 They found him, hahahahah

  • @residentevlidead LOL yeah i know, awesome :D !

  • @yourass117 Haha, strange to see this old comment just days after we found him...

  • @yourass117 Comment no longer applies :)

  • I remember this song. It was a great

song to dance to. I can't remember

what year it was recorded. Was it

in the early 60's? Glad to hear it again.

  • I don't really know, my dad had this song in his room and I like it, so I put on youtube

  • I did a little checking, Searchin was

written by Leiber and Stoller for the

Coasters. It was recorded by ATCO

on a 45. Was on the R&B chart for

l2 weeks and number 3 on the Pop

Chart. The flip was "Young Blood".

It was recorded in March l957

  • that's cool

  • Thank (you) for the info ! : )

  • @OutlawzRecords um, 1957
