Database Server: "localhost"

User name: domain_SQLDatabaseUser

Password: tic tac toe, laa dee daa

Database name: domain_SQLDatabase

Great tutorial but just some advice to others.

Firstly I couldn't find my Database Server hostname. Tried "localhost" as a stab in the dark which it was, BUT it didn't work first time round. Just got it working now b'cuz my username was in fact... My username! And not the server name like Stevie says here. Total relief once it started working :-)

I can't seem to get past the installation. I follow the instructions and it says I installed it succefully. But the buttons pop-up a page that have a 404 error and an addres that is mostly /////////// in it.

on justhost it already installs it. go to cpanel in databases and click on phpMyAdmin, it will show up there.

But, It doest work for me, I did every step you said, but when I open my website/catalog, it apears all the files that I had uploaded and not that Instalation screen from Oscommerce.

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /hsphere/local/home/my donæme/my shop donæme/catalog/install/include­s/functions/database.php on line 39?

Do you know why that´s keep happining....
