Looks delish Beth ! Hope your mom heals quickly, I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers. I'm still sick, never really recovered fully from my last surgery and just found out the Cancer is back once again.. I will be having another surgery soon and hopefully I will feel good for a while. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired ..lol

I hope they can fully eradicate it via surgery and don't have to go to further, harsher measures :( I miss you too and think of you often. I didn't have time to stop by today, as I was just getting out of one doc's office before the next one half way across the island was calling. I do have mom's custard pie recipe, but have not made a video yet. I've decided that I am going to attempt to do a bunch of desserts soon. They go slow in our house, so I wait until it is gone before doing another.. I'll make it soon

I hope the toe is better too. I go in tomorrow and will hopefully get to see it. They had it bandaged today so I could not see it.

Another Great Dish Beth. I was gonna ask. Do you know the calories in the sauce? Its not a biggie. I just have chicken on hand and I am thinking of I dish I could make with it. Mom isnt a fan of cooking chicken here. So its up to me.lol

@CookingAndCrafting Hey Beth. Yeah I found it. Here it is for anyone else that may ask. Nutritional Facts 4 ounces cooked chicken with 1/3 cup sauce equals 680 calories, 21 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 139 mg cholesterol, 271 mg sodium, 83 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 32 g protein.

I think I will be giving this a try tomorrow. Or something along the lines.lol

By the way, Hahahaha (by now your probably thinking 'oh god, here we go again') At our chinese resturants around here we can get what they call 'Honey Chicken' and also 'Lemon Chicken' Which is one of my favourite things to eat. Can't wait to try this out. Thanks for the recipe! :)

thank the Good Lord above about your mama!! Was sending thoughts and prayers to her. You saying,"SHOYU" reminded me, Saturday night on Foodnetwork they were at a Marine base on Oahu and Chef Morimoto kept using SHOYU and was saying just like you do. ;-)

I've made homemade lemon curd many times, I think you'll enjoy it much better. The lemon taste is just more refreshing plus it is a lot cheaper to make! :)

oh my, i hope your mom feels better asap! my mom is also in the hospital...she had a stroke this past thursday =( i haven't been able to see her due to having the stupid @#%& flu!...she seems to be doing better and is being transfered to a rehab vacility today...there's not much worse than when our moms are sick *sigh*
