  • Oh man. I love this version. I have ever since I was little. All time favorite. No other Alice in Wonderland makes me happy =D

  • This is the version I grew up with, that I no longer have. Thank you so much for posting this. (:

  • I grew up with version not the Disney one, I was 2 when I first saw it and never not lovingit!! I did't see the Disey till I was 8 and thought it was dumb (no offese!!!) But I do like the Tim Burto one a little bit too.

  • BEST alice in wonderland adaptation to date. LOVE watching this movie here and on my VHS tape :)

  • thank you soooo much for the upload

  • This is my favorite version of alice in wonderland, by far.

  • I wonder what's in those sandwiches- nobody wants them.

  • Does anybody know where can i donwload the soundtrack online?:)

  • @VeronicaGee134 I looked everywhere. Trust me, no free site has it. Thee only ones that have it is Amazon and iTunes.

  • Tim Burton is my idol. ! But I have to admit that I like this film better. I find it's a little more confusing and weird. Which, in my opinion, is what wonderland is all about. (:

  • When I was a kid, I had an illness and was forced to stay in bed all day long. My only entertainment was the TV and luckily, this movie was showing so I recorded it onto a cassette. I watched it over and over again..until the cassette was lost. I'm so happy that I can watch this movie again. The quality is good too. Thank you so much!

  • @VickiiL me 2 i use to watch this movie all the time when i was sick

  • i remember watching this when i was a kid!!! omg the memories i'm remembering! i remember singing the "beautiful soup" song all the time with my brother whenever we eat soup hahaha <3

  • I got this movie from a cereal box a long time ago. The DVD doesn't work anymore, but I still love this version

  • @FreeAngelClub same!!

  • @FreeAngelClub Haha, the one prize in a cereal box I would actually like! Wow, you got pretty lucky! This is one of the best versions of the story out there!

  • OOOOh I saw the Movie i was 6 =) (sry my English isn´t good) But Thx

  • Hallmark did some awesome movies based on fairytales. The Snow Queen is probably one of my all time favorite movies. It will always remind me of childhood and winter.

  • I like this version better than the rest of the Alice In Wonderland movies because it stays closer to the parts of the book like the part where she where she talks to the mouse (i havent watched this movie in years so i dont remember most of the parts) but this version is my most favorite! thank you so much for uploading it

  • i totally had this on VHS

who else remembers whoopie goldburg as the cat

  • This is the most accurate adaptation (according to the novel) I've seen so far. Fascinating!

  • omg thank u 4 uploadin dis i saw it once n evr since den i hav been wounderin wat it waz called n evry time i lookd it up i kept getin a dif version so again thankz :)

  • AH! I THOUGHT that was Tina Majorino! But I wasn't sure! I LOVE her! haha! havent seen her work in ages! Im SOOOO happy you uploaded this! I had this movie when I was little but somebody stole it! I'm so happy to see it again! :D

  • I adore you for uploading this movie! This was my favorite movie as a kid. I watched it so many times that I had it memerized word for word... literally.

  • My mom thinks that im crazy for being an Alice fan, maybe she's right but i don't care.

  • i found it! *super happy* :D

  • My childhood. :)

For some reason, I can't help thinking of Alice Madness Returns, or the two Disney's versions now. O.o

  • I've never seen or heard about this until today. I'm already about 5 minutes into it and I gotta say it's really good. :)

  • @creekstar7 You're in for quite a treat then. Enjoy!

  • @TheCheshireofQuidget i haven't watched this since 1999 or 2000 when i was very young, thank you for posting the movie and reminding me of a time when life didn't suck at all

    thank you

  • Hallmark's ALWAYS hires some kind of a killer cast :)

    it's stunning!

  • Am i the only person who finds this movie a little eerie?

  • hey what are you doing out of the napoleon dynamite movie alice?!? lol

  • @narmixrawr lolol...I know that's gotta be something that follows her on her resume...

  • U kno it's good if it's Hallmark!

    BEST ALICE INTERPRETATION EVER!!!

  • creeepy

  • I like to think that this is how Alice experienced everything before American Mcgee's Alice. Ehehehe...oh the horror.

  • i'm thinkin this is shomehow inbetween the original and american mcgee's alice which takes place after the original book 10 years after to be exact

  • I hate it when people keep relating Alice in Wonderland to drugs, is it hard to believe that a writer can create a novel using his own "IMAGINATION" is that hard to believe, NO

  • Comment removed

  • @MsAnonymous103 Couldn't agree more. My high school has been trying to get a Wonderland theme for a dance, but they won't let them do it because it's related to drugs and hallucinations!! GAH!! I went off on a rattle once, saying if they would just do their flipping research, then they wouldn't have such a pointless problem! Having a theme like that would be AWESOME!!

  • @MsAnonymous103 I read somewhere that the books are related to math more than anything else. Lewis Caroll was connecting this wonderland place where everything is upside down and abnormal to new advances in mathematics at the time when ideas like "imaginary numbers" were coming into play. It's meant as a satire of those new ideas.

  • @33rosyposy that's not my point actually but nevermind

  • @33rosyposy and a satire of the Brit government :)

  • This is my favorite film version of Alice in Wonderland, thank you so much for posting!! My VHS copy is getting old...I need to find a DVD copy!

  • Love this one, I think the same guy that did this one did Alice and The Tin Man for Syfy.

  • @33rosyposy He did ;-)

  • woudn't alices dress get dirty from going in the hole?

  • still the best version ever made. thanks so much for uploading!!!

  • i love alice in wonderland and always wanted to go to wonderland it looks so fun

  • LOL!! at first i thought Whoopi Goldberg was a Guy not a Girl

  • its so unfair that us boys can never pay alcie in wonderland

  • @NerdyRandomGirl She's sitting on a shoe brush.

  • The best version by far...

I'm afraid People expected much to much muchness when it was announced Tim Burton was doing an Alice in wonderland.... and when one expects too much...

  • y is there a boy in a yellow dress

  • i love this movie, but it's taking FOREVER to load and stopping every five seconds:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

  • this is the best version of alice in wonderland in my option!

i remember how i wished to be in wonderland for only one day when i was younger, and i still do. And i'm 19 now!

  • I was the only one in my family who truly enjoyed this on the night it premiered. I remember us making all these comparisons between this version and the 1951 one. Twelve years later and I still love this movie a lot!!!!

  • Oh my, i remember sitting in my grandma's livingroom watching this repeatedly one weekend. i remember it specifically because the VHS tape was Blue ^^

  • Doesnt she play Molly in that movie with woopi Goldburg?

  • I like how the cat in this version acts like...A CAT.

Alice: Oh, what am I going to do Dinah? Of all the songs I have to sing CHERRY RIPE!

Cat Translation: Why did you have to wake me up?!

  • I saw this version and the disney version growing up, and I liked this version better. This "style" was mainstream at the time, as it was used in The Tenth Kingdom a year later.

  • Thanks heaps for uploading! This brings back so many memories :D

  • I wonder...what's the name of the actor playing the mouse ?Is him still acting? He is extremely resemblant to a man I saw in a museum as a tourist guide...:)

  • it is such a winderful cast i mean whoopi goldberg, christopher lloyd....and so on....i just love the film!!!

  • could you possibly send me a link to download this amazing movie???pleaaase??

  • this is my absolute favourite version of the movie. The original cartoon is good, but the new movie is horrible

  • This is probably the best, and most faithful adaptation!!! I love it.

  • Cherry ripe

    cherry ripe

    ripe i cry

fools and fair ones come and buy

    cherry ripe

    cherry ripe

    ripe i cryYYYYYYYYYYYY!

  • this is the best version, i watched it in 2001 on Hallmark and hv loved it since

  • This is the best adaptation by far. This Alice is Tina Marjorino, she is also in Napoleon Dynamite. Thanks for posting.

  • The best adaption in terms of how close it is to the book is the 1985 version, but this one is my favorite in terms of which movie I like best.

  • Alice kinda looks like my friend Jasmine except my friend doesn't have a british accent

  • I love this version !)

  • her dress is yellow like in the book

  • So grateful for you uploading the movie. Thank you very much. I saw this movie when I was a kid and its absolutely terrific.

  • Best adaptation ever. Thank You SO MUCH for posting this!

  • When I saw this movie, I wanted to cry. The music was well played thoughout the movie. like when alice grew big she started crying.

  • im having tea while im watching this and im a kid

  • i always thought the lady with the tea was reeeeeeeeeaaaallly creepy :P

  • This is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAy Better than the new one :D and all my friends have never heard of it before haha wtf?

  • Better than the new one with Johnny Depp. I saw this one when I was 8 and then watched the new one when I was 19...bit dissapointed with the new one having seen this one first.

  • i was absolutely obsessed with this movie when i was 9. i watched it over and over and over and over again....

  • Isnt the girl playing alice the girl from Napolean Dynamite!? I love this version! Ive been searching for a long time now. Thank you (:

  • @ChuckNorrisNinjas Yeah, Tina Majorino, she was in that movie about the seal, Andre or something was his name. I wish she'd take on more roles!

  • Thanks for uploading! I've wanted to see this version for a while now. I think I saw it as a child once, but I don't remember.

  • thank you so much! have been looking for this for so long.

  • The BEST adaptation of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, without a doubt.

The animated Disney version is great, but not so much an adaptation of the book as its own thing entirely.

The Tim Burton one is... colourful. Yes, colourful. And rather shiny I guess.

  • @Spazzbert you should consider the 1972 version or the 1985.

  • @Spazzbert

I couldn't agree with you more.

  • by the way, am I the only one who's woken up in the middle of the night with this playing in their head?

  • This was the first interpretation I ever saw, and I must say it's my favourite. The main title music, right at the beginning, is one of my favourite pieces ever.

  • AHHH!! Lewis Carol! God Bless that Hookah smoking, Mushroom eating, Tea sipping Genious!!! May he RIP.

  • very strange... and its sort of dark

  • very strange...

  • hey , can u tell me where to download this movie pleassseee .... my sis really want this mmovie !

  • hate it so much

  • this movie sucks balls ok it is so stupid the people are so ugly and have no lives

  • the rabbit is hysterical looking! He looks so funny! Was he computer animated, or a robot? B/c that's what he looks like, a little funny robot.

  • I love the tracking shot through the house and party that establishes the Wonderland characters and the matching party guests...!

  • That... looks like the girl from Napolean Dynamite.

  • i luv that song she sings

  • OMG a childhood classic!!! They don't make tv like they used to :(

    Thank you for uploading!

  • This is fantastic, they should do another bbc alice film, that would be great or on itv drama. That would be really exciting.

  • This is my favorite Alice in Wonderland! teh first time i watched it i was 3, and ive loved it since!!

  • she's not even blonde.

  • @florencelovme Nowhere in the story did it ever state Alice was blonde.

  • @PrettyRubbish I dont care - blonde is prettier than anything.

  • I realize it is a hallmark movie but who is the director of this film?

  • I just stumbled upon this version-

    It is now my favourite.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! i used to watch this everyday at my grandma's house. and eat chicken noodle soup. LOVE this

  • This version is by far better than Burton's. Thanks for uploading. <3

  • i love the rabbit!!!

  • YAY! THANKS SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING!

  • ooh<3333333333333 i lovee thiss i love alice in wonderland :3 thank you love u

  • This is weird... 4 minutes into it, and this movie looks more Burtonian than the Tim Burton movie. :S

  • @Bobzeaux Yep! and richard hartley's score is far better than Elfman's. Ahh, the good old days, juuust before everyone started to depend on CGI to draw audiences rather than beautiful performance and production. The last great adaptation methinks.

  • @ursie1986

As much as I dislike the CGI orgasm that too many director's turn movies into these days, I think it's perfectly appropriate for Wonderland. It fully exploits the Uncanny Valley, making Alice (and the audience) stay confused about whether or not this is actually happening. *lol*

  • @Bobzeaux Good point, although only when it's very subtle, or completely surreal. Maybe it's because I'm of the Jim Henson's Creature Shop generation but I detest the look of CG 'characters', something of the atmosphere is lost - give me an actor in a terrifying costume anyday!

  • @ursie1986

Totally. Bring back the puppets, Hollywood!

  • the opening somehow reminds me of Labrynth's opening, but polished and more refine. ^^

  • as I am just reading the book,I am looking for a well done interpretation of "alice's adventures in wonderland" as much as as faithfull and funny!

this looks pretty faithfull (even if the Start is not just like the book)

would you suggest this to me??or Do you know if there is an even better movie??

aniway...this is the best i found till now!

( I apologize for my english, is not my mother tongue^^)

thanks so much for uploading this btway!

  • this version really creeps meh out for some reason.

  • longitude...latitude...

  • i think they took the term "bed of leaves" a little too seriously

  • I consider this alongside the 1985 TV adaptation to be the most faithful to what Lewis Carroll would have envisioned for a screenplay. The production value is outstanding (perhaps even moreso than its predecessor, given the technologies available), but at least the special effects don't overshadow the storyline as in the latest incarnation by Tim Burton. The characters, the costumes, and the set design are breathtaking and the pace of the story is perfectly suited for a screen rendition. Kudos!

  • THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING THIS.... we had this on tape..when i was little.. we had recorded it from t.v. on ABC. and then we lost it.. .............................im not that much older.. only 16) but i love this movie.. and i am so glad i can still watch it.. i am most happy that the movie is in such good quality to.. Kudos to you

  • God i remember watching this when i was really little! its better thenb Tim Burtons version.

  • wow i just notices there was the mad hatter and the march hare at 4:09

  • this one and burtons are the greates versions of all time :D thank you so much, i'd rather watch it in german, since i may understand it a little better, but at least i can watch it at all:`)

  • Fast forward all the way to 4:07 and you'll see the man who plays jackfrost in Tim Allen's santa clause 3 the escape clause. it's nice to see him again, isn't it?

  • thanks for uploading this! I love this version of Alice in Wonderland, it's my favourite! Do you know thw title of the song Alice have to sing? Thanks again!!

  • I think helena bonham carter was the best queen of hearts!

  • this movie seems very creepy I LIKE IT!!!!!

  • guys do u knw wer i can download this movie...i cant get it out in the market..anywer...plzz i want it badly!!
