i love this movie ^_^ its my favorite version. its so interesting. i use to watch this when i was a kid before i saw the disney version, and when i saw the disney version, i was really disappointed
I grew up with version not the Disney one, I was 2 when I first saw it and never not lovingit!! I did't see the Disey till I was 8 and thought it was dumb (no offese!!!) But I do like the Tim Burto one a little bit too.
Tim Burton is my idol. ! But I have to admit that I like this film better. I find it's a little more confusing and weird. Which, in my opinion, is what wonderland is all about. (:
When I was a kid, I had an illness and was forced to stay in bed all day long. My only entertainment was the TV and luckily, this movie was showing so I recorded it onto a cassette. I watched it over and over again..until the cassette was lost. I'm so happy that I can watch this movie again. The quality is good too. Thank you so much!
i remember watching this when i was a kid!!! omg the memories i'm remembering! i remember singing the "beautiful soup" song all the time with my brother whenever we eat soup hahaha <3
@FreeAngelClub Haha, the one prize in a cereal box I would actually like! Wow, you got pretty lucky! This is one of the best versions of the story out there!
Hallmark did some awesome movies based on fairytales. The Snow Queen is probably one of my all time favorite movies. It will always remind me of childhood and winter.
I like this version better than the rest of the Alice In Wonderland movies because it stays closer to the parts of the book like the part where she where she talks to the mouse (i havent watched this movie in years so i dont remember most of the parts) but this version is my most favorite! thank you so much for uploading it
omg thank u 4 uploadin dis i saw it once n evr since den i hav been wounderin wat it waz called n evry time i lookd it up i kept getin a dif version so again thankz :)
AH! I THOUGHT that was Tina Majorino! But I wasn't sure! I LOVE her! haha! havent seen her work in ages! Im SOOOO happy you uploaded this! I had this movie when I was little but somebody stole it! I'm so happy to see it again! :D

@TheCheshireofQuidget i haven't watched this since 1999 or 2000 when i was very young, thank you for posting the movie and reminding me of a time when life didn't suck at all
I hate it when people keep relating Alice in Wonderland to drugs, is it hard to believe that a writer can create a novel using his own "IMAGINATION" is that hard to believe, NO
@MsAnonymous103 It pisses me off too. Not only with Lewis Carroll, but with Jim Henson as well. And what pisses me off more is a lot of people aren't joking about it. Even if they did use drugs, I believe they could have created the same awesome stories and characters just as well. I guess some people are overwhelmed by the genius of these people.
@MsAnonymous103 Couldn't agree more. My high school has been trying to get a Wonderland theme for a dance, but they won't let them do it because it's related to drugs and hallucinations!! GAH!! I went off on a rattle once, saying if they would just do their flipping research, then they wouldn't have such a pointless problem! Having a theme like that would be AWESOME!!
@MsAnonymous103 I read somewhere that the books are related to math more than anything else. Lewis Caroll was connecting this wonderland place where everything is upside down and abnormal to new advances in mathematics at the time when ideas like "imaginary numbers" were coming into play. It's meant as a satire of those new ideas.
I'm afraid People expected much to much muchness when it was announced Tim Burton was doing an Alice in wonderland.... and when one expects too much...
I was the only one in my family who truly enjoyed this on the night it premiered. I remember us making all these comparisons between this version and the 1951 one. Twelve years later and I still love this movie a lot!!!!
Oh my, i remember sitting in my grandma's livingroom watching this repeatedly one weekend. i remember it specifically because the VHS tape was Blue ^^
I saw this version and the disney version growing up, and I liked this version better. This "style" was mainstream at the time, as it was used in The Tenth Kingdom a year later.
I wonder...what's the name of the actor playing the mouse ?Is him still acting? He is extremely resemblant to a man I saw in a museum as a tourist guide...:)
Better than the new one with Johnny Depp. I saw this one when I was 8 and then watched the new one when I was 19...bit dissapointed with the new one having seen this one first.
This was the first interpretation I ever saw, and I must say it's my favourite. The main title music, right at the beginning, is one of my favourite pieces ever.
