I go to a lot of these places where I know my favorite artists/performers will be, and often I have succeeded, but there have been times when screaming nutcases with no manners ruin it for the normal, respectful fans because they frighten away the performer - and I don't blame them for running. Oftentimes things can be normal and pleasant, but other times it can be frightening.

I read osomebodys blog recently and it was quite shocking.

Madonna was filming her performance for her Tsunami Aid Appeal performance at 3:00AM London Time at the BBC.

This guy who worked there came in just to watch her, waited 4 hours, and was literally the only person watching her.

He waited at her car outside, and Madonna approached, with literally no bodyguards, paps or fans, but him. He asked for her autograph and she looked at him like shit. Why couldn't she say "No, sorry", for him?

If I'd have to perform at 3 a.m. for no matter what charity, I wouldn't be in a signing mood too. And don't you forget that M usually never ever signs any autograph wether you meet her while she's jogging, going to her Pilates class, etc.

People simply need to accept this. Marlon Brando was a lot worse when it came to autograph collectors, you could hunt him for days and he's refuse to sign every single day.

When I was watching this I was saying "leave her the fuck alone!" in my head. I mean I know it's great to get an autograph and I understand that, but just looking from her perspective it would really annoying and creepy to have people yelling at you and sticking shit in your face to sign. It does look like she just scribbles, as opposed to writing something legible. If that's the case, then her autographs are worth nothing and will never appreciate in value.

that just seems scary to me. Like people complain about celebrities not signing their picture or whatever, and that they weren't "polite" but really she doesn't want to be bombarded by loads of people she doesn't even know.

She's gotten used to it in a way but that doesn't mean she enjoys it.

I would feel guilty asking for an autograph, to be honest.

I would want to, but I would be afraid to approach her and look like an eager fan.
