@brantfordredsox The time that I grew up watching wrestling, it wasn't unheard of to see a 6.0 Raw....and a 5.2 Nitro during the same time. Not to mention what was going on with ECW that I don't really have data on. That's a lot less wrestling fans. I tend to agree with Paul Heyman in that MMA is poised to replace professional wrestling.

TNA has his own generation of superstars.. the true WWE.. the people that made it the HBKs the HHHs the takers, rock SCSA etc.. all are still at WWE or retired.. hulk hogan and ric flair hardly count as wrestling anymore.. ric's last match was horrible in my opinion.. i watch both TNA and WWE... they're very much different and enjoyable to watch in their own respective

Regarding Paul Heyman, there was no movement this past week in the former ECW creative director joining TNA Wrestling. The feeling among many in the organization is that as long as television ratings hold up, Spike officials won't feel the need to pressure the organization in bringing him in.

Heyman insists he won't join the organization without the ability to rebuild the company, and without complete control over marketing, talent and the office, he won't be able to. TNA president Dixie Carter doesn't want to give up control of her company not to mention that she bears strong loyalty to certain employees, thus explaining why things remain at a standstill. It's actually a very smart move on Dixie's part no matter how much it pisses off the 'Paul Heyman marks' on the 'net.
