@thingnumba3 f1 isnt much better i dont like pavement racing period but i still watch nascar and i tried watching f1 and i can tell you right now it isnt any better than nascar
@thingnumba3 you do know NASCAR do race on road courses like F1, and at least with NASCAR you dont know who'll win till the last corner, F1 you know who'll win after 5 laps
@k4n3n1 V8 supercars are australian made. Holden Motorsport 5.0 litre fuel injected V8. Holden Racing Team developed cylinder
heads, fuel injection, intake and exhaust system. Category control MoTec engine
management control system. Estimated 635 + bhp limited to maximum 7,500 RP
If i wanted to see cars going in a circle ill watch nascar, if i wanna see some wicked racing on a actual road that needs skill, ill watch v8 supercars.
@WiiPS3guy well put...frankly the politics of NASCAR and F1 are a total put off, I recently just got into F1 and I can barely stand Ecclestone and the France's don't get off on easy notice either...what I would like is a NASCAR classic where there are actual American Stock Cars from the past driving, F1 too i suppose although my acquaintance with F1 history is, as of yet, rather limited
@ebyard and football does Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth. Back, Fall Down, and Forth.
F1 has a long history with road courses and great drivers and worldwide popularity and stability
NASCAR is the "baby" sport, and wasn't really popular until the mid-80's. NASCAR races mostly on ovals (and at 1 point a circle) while F1 races as I said, only on road courses. F1, though, has lost around 40% of its viewers since 2003 because of the recent domonince of Vettel, Hamilton, Schumacher, Rakoinen, and Alonso. NASCAR has lost only 10%.
never quite understood nascar and f1 fans getting at each other so much. its all motorsport neither is harder than the other because they are on opposite spectrum of the motor racing world each with its own individual difficulties...stereotyping, vulgarity, and being an ass does little to support your sides....and honestly just saying the other sucks proves you lack intellectual capacity, this is coming from an F1 and Nascar fan btw
I dont really like NASCAR racing because I think the cars should go around tracks like laguna seca instead of ovals but there is indeed talent needed to drive 4 wide at 200mph for 500 laps. If anyone does not think so, then ask all the f1 drivers who switched to NASCAR. PS my favorite motor sports are WRC and ALMS
I'd like to see any of you panty wearing candyasses who are leaving comments saying NASCAR doesn't take any driving skill, i'd like to see you drive a 4,000lbs car on slicks at 200mph in traffic on ANY track. I'll even be nice and say after 2 laps you're stupid punk ass is hitting the wall.
@BillyO8834 We'd probably be hitting the wall 'cuz nascar overtaking is all about bumping the other drivers into walls. No talent to see here let's move on.
NASCAR is like the retirement home for other series' bad drivers.
@joesetra meh, using driving skill as one of the things for any of those is biased.. nascar takes skill in coercing a car that is quirky around a challenging track with intense competition.. F1 takes technological expertise and fine line precision, WRC is the only one of the three these days that really still has a "most balls wins" attitude, which does stem from natural driving feel i agree
but each one of these top tier series takes "driving skill"
@joesetra No it's not as simple as that. F1 is not just fancy tech, it's a combination of the best drivers in the world. IN THE WORLD, and the fastest race cars on the planet. NASCAR may have big engines, but it's not hard to put down 800 bhp when you're already going 300 kph. F1=skill, NASCAR=Fucking huge awesome crashes.
If you want a good racing series to watch, watch V8 supercars. One of the best touring car series in the world!
@Shumacher5 v8 supercars of australia? hahahahaha, v8 supercars should not be in the same sentence as nascar, indycar, formula one, and champcar, oh yeah and v8 supercars have G.M. or FORD engines sent to aussie land, dont believe me do your research.
@k4n3n1 Nope, the engines for the V8 supercars are 100 fucking% Australian mate. The engines in the road cars maybe not, but the V8 supercar engines are made here for our V8's, so you do your research cunt.
NASCAR isn't even considered a motorsport for most people, it's embarrasing for us and embarrasing for the name motorsport. V8 Supercars is up there with DTM for best touring cars in the world, NASCAR is just a shit fucking excuse to go round in circles. FUck off mate, you're shit.
@hogwash2nd That's just not true! I was there and watched it and though they admittedly closed off Parliament Square that is because it is a lot narrower than Times Square... Traffic was only marginally affected for a short time as I imagine would have also been the case here.
an F1 team would be faster, but that's because they have twice as many wheel guns, and a 5th the amount of wheel nuts to deal with, if you do the maths, that pretty quick
Why do you argue about F1 vs nascar when GT series pwns all. Seeing the 24 hours nurburgring event, there's no way back to F1, i don't care how higtech it is.
@TheFlyingPineapple because it was on the nordschleife track, i've never watched one and i love GT cars. Stream was playing besides other stuff, but I NEVER got bored. I enjoyed the racing very much, something i can't say that for the F1. Sadly, all three team NFS cars failed to finish, that really gutted me, they were doing great.
@mininow i tried watching the le man 24 hour once, but got bored very quickly. i never get bored by f1 though. maybe i'll give 24 hr races another try some day...
theres a reason nascar is slower at pits. 1. theres only 2 people instead of 4 that actually are using an impact drill. and thers 5 lug nuts instead of 1 huge one. either way its fast as hell.
@elsparx If you think NASCAR it's all about going left it's because you have not see a race... ask Montoya about if racing in NASCAR is easy... by the way i'm not american i'm just a simple racing fan
the only problem with being a pit crew member is, when your out driving with friends or family and you get a flat, everyone expects youre the one who is changing the tire. for fun you can stop off at jiffy lube and laugh at them for being so slow.
Anyone who talks down about any form of auto racing isn't a real racing fan, as far as I am concerned. But sadly it seems the newer racing fans do a whole lot of shit talking. Most of the older more experience NASCAR fans talk highly about F1, and most of the older more experienced F1 fans talk highly about NASCAR. So maybe you kids should learn some valuable lessons about what being a racing fan is all about.
one is raw, the other is more high tech, its like european and american cars, there's no point comparing them, they're too very different versions of motorsport, stop bitching over it
F1's got those stupid things that lifts the car up! and a power drew that is shaped to do all the lug nuts at one time, so nascar pit crews are way cooler!
have you seen mark martins arms, they would pop your head off your neck, nascar cars do have power steering. yes they both have pros and cons, but who cares, watch it if you want, dont if you dont want to watch is simple. To me it racing so its all good!!!!
@superbroombroom you forgot.. F1. Can chill "usually" after a couple of laps after start... nascar. constant overtakings.. But then again, driving a f1 car, is proberly just as stressful, as overtaking in 9/10 motorsports..
"20.6 seconds might not be the fastest pit stop ever, but it will never be beaten in Times Square."
That sounds like a challenge to me! Get the F1 boys in - watch how a pit-stop is really done. They're so good at teamwork that hospitals ask F1 teams for help on getting patients into the right place quickly.
Oh, and NASCAR doesn't suck - it's just very different from F1. Both can be great entertainment or as boring as sin.
NASCAR pit stops are that long because a) they change the right side and left side wheels separately, not all 4 at once and b) they have more wheel nuts, not just the one.
But yeah, people need to stop arguing about which one is better. It's personal preference and most motor sport fans can appreciate all forms of motor sport. Sure I prefer F1, but I still find NASCAR's 3 wide racing entertaining. Just because its different doesn't mean it's bad.
@ebyard Teamwork...HA! F1 only have one lug nut to change and one guy on each end of a tire.....NASCAR is alround harder than F1 (except for the Gs F1 experiences). U have to think that we are working with some thin piece of metal (spoiler) as our only downforce. And F1 cars are not even cars. their high tech go-karts with stickers and a rear wing.
@ebyard F1 has 18 men just to change tyres and lift the car. in this video its 7 (i think) guys changing tyres, jacking up the car and refuling so don't even try to compare them
@ebyard the reason it took 20.6 seconds compared to stuff like 4.6 seconds in f1 is because they have to tigthen, is it, 5? wheel nut whereas in f1, it is 1 big one.
@EldubeG25 Yeah it goes left, straight, left, straight etc at speeds faster than you will ever go, closer than you park to other cars who are also going faster than you will ever go. When 25 cars cross the finish line within a second of each other after 500miles and all you saw was left and straight, than you're completely missing what is going on.
@ebyard everything you say is basically true except for the fact the fact that Tony Stewart who tested Lewis Hamilton's F1 car said that a NASCAR racecar doesnt even compare to machine like the F1 car. i still enjoy both but F1 is better
i find it really annoying that the Assholes that say that Nascar sucks, have thumbs up, while those who say good things about it don't have, JESUS CAN'T YOU JUST GO TO A F1 VIDEO AND POST HATE COMMENTS ABOUT NASCAR IN A F1 VIDEO!? WHY DO YOU COME TO A NASCAR VIDEO IF YOU HATE IT ANYWAY!?
come everybody stop fighting over which one is the best. If you like amzaing road courses set out around the world you like F1, but if you like left turns and beer you like nascar. to simply put it....shit I give up nascar sucks elephant balls
@oscar111194 hey dumbass NASCAR is not for rednecks, and they dont always turn left, they turn right several times dipshit, go be gay with michael shumacher or lewis hamilton you F1 loving fag
@serendipityuk Think about it. just because nothings like your "Precious" F1, doesnt mean you go to a video and troll nascar like the shit you think it is. That pit stop shit you see in F1, wont support the stock cars, there way too heavy.
@Tryphon34 God forbid someone looks at another sport other than F1 on Youtube and give their own opinion! Fucking yanks! They preach about "a free world" and "free speech" but are happy to exercise hypocrisy every other minute of the day.
@Khabibulin3935 f1 drivers do have to shift, and even if they didnt, what does that tell you about talent? shifting isnt a skill, its a necesity to normal fucking driving, ur either good at it, or u suk at it and no1 ever wants u to drive
you stupid bitches saying F1 is better than Nascar, well guess what, you're watching a Nascar video!, why don't you head over to a F1 vid and leave us Nascar fans alone? because as far as i know, turning left with a 850hp Machine is not easy, especially when you don't have any assists, while in F1 you need even traction control
It's funny how the Chinese guy on the bike just rides through the spectacle without so much as batting an eye. Man just wants to get to his destination and neither a Nascar changing tires the end of the world will deter this man.
NASCAR- The excitement "They're doing a left turn!! And another left turn :D!!!"

NASCAR = Raw power and endurance competition
WRC = driving skill and team work
you wanna see insanely fast car (over 300km/h anyone?) with some fancy tech (ceramic brakes sure hard to get) ? go see F1
or you wanna see raw engine power (5.8L V8 is BIG) with some endurance mixed in (its 500 miles guys!) ? go see NASCAR
or maybe you wanna see awesome driving skills (gravel, tarmac, snow here!) and teamwork (co-pilot required) ? go see WRC
simple as that!

F1 has no traction control or abs. Plus they run in the rain
Basetornado 9 months ago
@Tryphon34 - F1 cars don't have traction control so that has kinda f*cked up your argument
MrProject20 9 months ago
"20.6 seconds might not be the fastest pit stop ever, but it will never be beaten in Times Square."
That sounds like a challenge to me! Get the F1 boys in - watch how a pit-stop is really done. They're so good at teamwork that hospitals ask F1 teams for help on getting patients into the right place quickly.
Oh, and NASCAR doesn't suck - it's just very different from F1. Both can be great entertainment or as boring as sin.

@ebyard
Undertaker3879 9 months ago
@Undertaker3879 Don't forget, they don't refuel in F1 either.
roguelead72 7 months ago
@ebyard Teamwork...HA! F1 only have one lug nut to change and one guy on each end of a tire.....NASCAR is alround harder than F1 (except for the Gs F1 experiences). U have to think that we are working with some thin piece of metal (spoiler) as our only downforce. And F1 cars are not even cars. their high tech go-karts with stickers and a rear wing.
TheStockCarStig 7 months ago
@TheStockCarStig u are stupid
KillaBee23z 6 months ago
@ebyard F1 has 18 men just to change tyres and lift the car. in this video its 7 (i think) guys changing tyres, jacking up the car and refuling so don't even try to compare them
blixtenkarting 7 months ago 3
@ebyard One thing, don't formula 1 cars have one nut, rather than 5?
1ch3atd3ath 7 months ago
@ebyard F1 has 1 wheel nut on each wheel you twat
micky1483 6 months ago
@ebyard Get DTM to do it! :) They're pretty fast!
tordern22 6 months ago
@ebyard the reason it took 20.6 seconds compared to stuff like 4.6 seconds in f1 is because they have to tigthen, is it, 5? wheel nut whereas in f1, it is 1 big one.
phil211293 6 months ago
@phil211293 and they do 2 wheels at a time. And they fill up on fuel (doesn't always affect time though)
hejjagedu 6 months ago
@ebyard Except that nascar goes ... left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, left, straight, PIT. Forever lol

@EldubeG25 and when they pit... they have to make a left! LOLOL!
Ferrari123planb 6 months ago
@EldubeG25 No, there are Road Courses too! Imagine Infineon with Nascar! It's been like that for 30 years. And it's actually called Sears Point.

@EldubeG25 best description of NASCAR I have ever read...
Semeiron 2 months ago
@EldubeG25 IKR! its bullshit!
CRGboy1 1 month ago
@EldubeG25 Yeah it goes left, straight, left, straight etc at speeds faster than you will ever go, closer than you park to other cars who are also going faster than you will ever go. When 25 cars cross the finish line within a second of each other after 500miles and all you saw was left and straight, than you're completely missing what is going on.
GetchaPullOff 3 weeks ago
@GetchaPullOff 'cause theres nothing going on.. *personal tastes*

@ebyard wat about indy car
k9complex 5 months ago
@ebyard everything you say is basically true except for the fact the fact that Tony Stewart who tested Lewis Hamilton's F1 car said that a NASCAR racecar doesnt even compare to machine like the F1 car. i still enjoy both but F1 is better
philly624 5 months ago
i find it really annoying that the Assholes that say that Nascar sucks, have thumbs up, while those who say good things about it don't have, JESUS CAN'T YOU JUST GO TO A F1 VIDEO AND POST HATE COMMENTS ABOUT NASCAR IN A F1 VIDEO!? WHY DO YOU COME TO A NASCAR VIDEO IF YOU HATE IT ANYWAY!?
Axel7043 9 months ago
come everybody stop fighting over which one is the best.

TheJuggler4life 10 months ago
@ILEIEIT well F1 is boring as fuck, and NASCAR is hard because it is easier for NASCAR drivers to go over to F1 than F1 to come to NASCAR!
F1 sucks NASCARS dick
TheJuggler4life 10 months ago
That was ridiculously slow, F1 would have done about 3 or 4 pitstops in the same time.
serendipityuk 10 months ago
@serendipityuk Think about it. just because nothings like your "Precious" F1, doesnt mean you go to a video and troll nascar like the shit you think it is. That pit stop shit you see in F1, wont support the stock cars, there way too heavy.
Tryphon34 10 months ago
@Tryphon34 God forbid someone looks at another sport other than F1 on Youtube and give their own opinion! Fucking yanks! They preach about "a free world" and "free speech" but are happy to exercise hypocrisy every other minute of the day.
serendipityuk 9 months ago
I guess nascar has not discovered center-locking wheels. Just one more reason why f1 is better ;)
kevinthemathgeek 10 months ago
@kevinthemathgeek Im sure thats the reason, because they can just go into the stockcar and go "Lets add blah blah blah". like theres room for it.

That guy wavin that oil trunk looks like Pyro from TF2
vastblueocean 10 months ago
@ILIEIEIT Uhhh... Mark Martin is a. only in his fifties and b. is in just as good a shape as any F1 drivers.
And NASCAR requires far more mental endurance than F1, where else do you run for 500 miles surrounded by other drivers.
rotaxint8 10 months ago
@rotaxint8 NASCAR drivers are not in as good shape as f1 drivers because f1 drivers have to take way more G's and have to fit in a smaller car
xFiNgErPaiinT 4 months ago 2
@xFiNgErPaiinT and F1 driver don't have to shift, And Carl Edwards has beaten Micheal Schumacker in a race. I seen it.
Khabibulin3935 4 months ago
@Khabibulin3935 who the fuck cares, would been alot easier for shumi in a nascar than "carl edwards" in a F1
OlofSealOfApproval 4 months ago
@OlofSealOfApproval not really
Khabibulin3935 4 months ago
@Khabibulin3935 f1 drivers do have to shift, and even if they didnt, what does that tell you about talent? shifting isnt a skill, its a necesity to normal fucking driving, ur either good at it, or u suk at it and no1 ever wants u to drive

@oscar111194 Tottaly man because theres tottaly no G-force involved, no bumps, you know, its the "Easiest" shit ever.
Tryphon34 10 months ago
you stupid bitches saying F1 is better than Nascar, well guess what, you're watching a Nascar video!, why don't you head over to a F1 vid and leave us Nascar fans alone? because as far as i know, turning left with a 850hp Machine is not easy, especially when you don't have any assists, while in F1 you need even traction control
Axel7043 10 months ago
@Axel7043 Mate, F1 car's only assists is the driver nothing else.

It's funny how the Chinese guy on the bike just rides through the spectacle without so much as batting an eye. Man just wants to get to his destination and neither a Nascar changing tires the end of the world will deter this man.
