zem1956 I've noticed that too. The wonderful witch in The Halloween Party was an absolutely delightful character in Miss Marple's "Murder is Announced"  I can't get enough of Agatha Christie......and these productions are spectacular.

Character actors that show up in these series also show up in the Miss Marple shows as well. Wow England has some wonderful actors

The Christipher Gunning music is fabulous...the second reason I watch "The Hollow" over and over again. It is on his cd "The Film and TV Music of Christopher Gunning".. He has done many of the Poirots. The beginning with the music and light on water is mesmerizing. Thank you for this ravenhaven14

Stunning episode, this one is one of my most watched. The directing is unbelievably good, cinematography stunning, acting top notch. Almost everything perfect (though I do wish they hadn't rushed Edward and Midge's relationship in this adaptation compared to the book but hey ho, can't have everything! Thanks for the upload, just wonderful to know they're on YouTube and I don't need to dig out my DVDs!

One of the BEST Poirot episodes!! It was faithful to the book, the acting is superb, the cast is exceptional, the music is so beautiful, and the script is well-written. It's defintely one of my favorite Poirots!

Btw, I know the song that is played at the beginning with John Christow and Henrietta Savernake. It's "By The Fireside" by Al Bowlly--I recommend that you check out his music . . . . . he's really good!
