  • I remember having my mother install this for me through DOS. I just purchased the game, and might do a Lets Play if anyone is interested.

  • pointless violence with cheesy mid 90's storyline and live action bad acting and outdated fashions

    what more do you need

also mark bussler's matter of fact review that sums up everything perfectly while professional he is also casual enough to be approachable

  • THEY SCREAM LIKE KERMIT THE FROG

  • Orgin make the best games.

  • Wow what a blast from the past, I use to play this on one of my first computer systems.

  • you guys bring me back to my childhood <3<3/,#

  • It's a pity No Regret didn't get a PS1/Saturn release.

  • IT'S ON GOG.COM - GET IT RIGHT NOW

  • I like Major Joanne Vargoss

  • The game was great, only the fact that the guy is stalking like a high heeled barbie was a liittle bit a pain in the neck.

  • its on good old games for 6 bucks, yay

  • ilove when human enemies die in this game.

  • ilove when human enemies die in this game

  • I want a Pastel Space Jacket.

    :(

  • Project Overkill was better.

  • This game was incredible when it came out:

    - The SVGA graphics, this game was one of the first PC games I saw that used a higher video resolution, and it used every extra pixel to good use.

    - Being able to destroy practically EVERYTHING in a room. I can't remember a game before it that had near as much freedom when it came to destruction.

    - The fact that every *normal* door can be blown up, allowing you to bypass many tedious 'fetch the passcode' sections, and it's just awesome that you can.

  • @Zycyzyx and it was free for those of us with parents who wouldn't buy us such a violent game! (Shareware free that is)

  • I remember renting this when i was a kid for my saturn, memories.

  • change system date to dec 25 for fun fun fun fun

  • pc game

  • One of the best games on PS1,and yeah, nice review again man :D

  • noooooo! this remember Soldier at War xD!

  • Best Action Game Ever!

  • VERY good industrial. BTW, kill that commentator.

  • you re not authorize...aaaaaaaaaa! lol XD

  • Never saw those videos, damn you ripped pirated games

  • I had the ps1 version, and even though it really felt like a PC-port and not something built for a console, the core gameplay was so good that I still loved it.

  • i really enjoyed this game on the pc back in the day its addictive shooting everything in the rooms wasnt there a gun that melted off there skin plasma type thing

  • These games were AWESOME

  • the one on pc is way better in my opinion.

i remember playing this in ms dos on win 95 back in the day.

    epic

  • @NitromeSupporter Dead right - so much better on PC!

  • i think they should release this on xbox live or psn, would be great

  • Loved this game. Played the PC version years ago. The sequel was decent as well.

  • What's the music at 0:02?

  • This has possibly the greatest cover art ever.

  • Yeah...graphics and sound are inferior on the PS version. Awesome game though :)

  • I'm definitely going to pick up a copy of this for my Saturn or Ps3 after watching this. I love the non stop action mixed with Fallouts 3/4 view. There was a sequel to this game (Crusader No Regret) but it didn't make it to the consoles.

Anyone know if you can use Dosbox to play the oc version on Windows 7?

  • @TargetRender You can use Dosbox to play these games, and I agree with the reviewer, the PC version is superior (better controls, graphics & sound), so try to get those if you can.

  • wow, this looks really cool! It does somewhat remind me of shadowrun on the snes

  • This game looks bad-ass, like the old Fallout games mixed with Red Faction. That is like the Lord Karnage sandwich, Fallout is like the Mozzerella, Red faction is the Pepperoni, plasma rifles are the basil and the bloodiness is the Mayo that gives the game even more flavor. It just looks so tasty I gotta try it...oh and the sandwich too!

  • Wow I looked all over to find what game I was thinking of... HOW is this not considered a classic and a staple of all us 20-somethings? This might have been my favorite game of all time. I was obsessed as a 12 year old.

  • It's a pity they didn't port the sequel No Regret to consoles. Console gamers who didn't own the PC game really missed out. I strongly think the sequel was better than the original.

  • Let your "Soul Glo" in the 22 century :)

  • This Game Is A BEAST! Played on the PC was amazing 8)

  • best game ever. origin rulez

  • Nice game. Payed 99$ for it when it came out. I give it an 8.5/10. There were some things i didn't like about it like not being able to reconfigure your keys. i wish they would come out with an FPS version of this game. BTW loved the synthesized music in this game. Long live classic gaming!

  • never played it, but hilarious review

  • Crusader No Remorse is an all time classic. All hail the Silencer & Zurovec's team, for introducing us to arguably the first cover-based shooter. Design towards the end of Crusader is brilliant with open-ended progression. Just wish you got something for killing "the traitor" other than the glee of seeing said person turn into a flaming pile of bones

  • I STILL have this game for my playstaion, I put it in the ps3 even now and fucking rock out, I have saved games from like a decade ago. Greatest action game ever made.

  • "hehehe, and he bleeds. ahh"

    LMAO that was funny

  • I loved playing this on the pc. I did remember the graphics were much better than this on the pc.

  • This game is fucking awesome. Gone but not forgotten Crusader Remorse!!!!..We need the pc versions on xboxlive and psn!

  • i just downloaded it 4 my pc and could someone tell me the controls like

hot to switch weapons and the action button

  • 90s FMV fail.

  • graphics are too similar to diablo 1 its crazy but seriously anything coming from origin is no doubt beast

  • do you have Crusader: No Regret ? can you do rewiev of Crusader: No Regret? please :)

  • lol the baddies sound like Barney Gumble

  • boner!

  • @hugorular how the fuck did u get a boner

  • @Serious101Gamer sexy futuristic 90s girls!

  • I had this game on PC in my drawer for a while. Thanks for reviewing it! Looks interesting, I'm going to install it now.

  • the game play looks like fallout 2

  • @ 0:46 is that... billy dee williams?

  • "Red tin-man of death with a silencer." LOL Mark is priceless sometimes.

  • I hate the controls on this game!

  • The chick that play Major Joann Vargas must be the worst actor i have seen in a videogame... EVER!!!

  • 5:08 "What does this word 'Surrender' mean? Is it synonymous with 'Shoot me in the head?'"

  • I just love the sounds the enemies make when they die! Just hilarious.

  • kinda like a futuristic diablo

  • @Ishidasouken I was thinking the same thing, man!

  • that sux that origins is no more i would have loved to see a FPS remake of this with online multiplayer. i never had this but i found my cd-rom case to no regret - unfortunately no disc inside =( .

  • haha Vargas looks like the mom from Clarissa explains it all, but with black hair

  • I'm glad I found out the name of this game. I remember seeing it in Target back in the day (when they still had the big PC game boxes) and thought it looked awesome.

  • The sequel is Crusader: No Regret. Not sure how many platforms it was on, but it was definitely on DOS.

  • LOVED this on the pc, going to have to pick up a copy for my saturn i think and relieve those good times :)

  • this was one of my favorits glad im not the only one who renembers this game

  • No pity. No mercy. No regrets.

  • Damn was this for the Saturn as well. I played it in DOS, god damn it was a great game, they should make a sequel or remake or something!

  • this game looks great

  • I seriously want this game. It looks cool.

  • it looks alot like the old fallout games

  • well fallout can possibly be a mod for it but perfected or such

possibly even CnC but probably not

  • @CrimsonDeath300 they should have definitely put the on the saturn

  • I gotta grab this. It looks like lots of fun!

  • LOL! Excellent review, you've got my subscription, hands down. Nice work!

  • lol... the hero character looks a lot like the clones and the two fetts from star wars.. :D

  • @777677467767469 how ironic

  • hey is this game still available in stores?

  • try ebay

  • I always wanted to play this game back in the day. The ads with the main character just looked cool back then. Seems pretty damn fun. It has an almost "Postal" like quality of humor and violence.

    Ahh Postal

  • good game, GREAT review. 5 star

  • i remeber play this on my first pc in windows 95 with a 2.5gb hard drive and about 64megs of ram!!! this and fade to black,

  • i have the psone and saturn version i have to say that saturn version is superior, fastest loading, the gameplay is faster too and the saturn control really helps the game almost forget that the saturn version doesn´t have the change music problem from the psone version when you pause the game

  • yea i remember this game and i also remember paying $3,000 for a 133mhz Packard Bell to play it! LOL

  • i remember playing this game back in the day and never knowing what it was about. all i knew was things blew up and it was awesome.

  • The death sounds really reminds of Red Faction.

  • anyone emember project overkill ps1?

  • yes! I played that game to death. I'm pretty sure I still have that disc somewhere

  • anybody else think

    mandalorian?

  • A buddy got this as his first Saturn game. We played the shit out of this for several hours.:)

  • if you dont have a bad attitude you dont stand a chance. lol

  • kinda like fallout 1 & 2 but more action and less rpg

  • One of my absolute favorites from the mid 90s, the pc version came with swag like most origin games at the time, including a fold-out poster filled with news about what was going in the game's universe. it also included a little blurb about a new AI called SHODAN. It's the little things that help make games like these so enduring.

  • whoa that is awesome... System Shock and Crusader crossover... blows my mind....

  • ...hold on, what if the Silencer was on the Vaun Braun? Haha... he'd murder Shodan so fast.

  • System Shock right?

  • I thought of another similarity between this game and Red Faction: they both have hilarious enemy death sound effects.

  • I bought this today for my saturn..IT`s awesome..THey should make this for the Sony PSP!!!!!!!...Awesome gameplay..Thanks for the review!!

  • aaa man, I had all the pcs versions of these games and I sucked really bad at them :/

  • I also played the Saturn version back in the day; it absolutely blew me away. What a bloody cracking game it is.

  • Oh, FMV games, you have a certain charm that cannot be explained.

  • The enemies sound like Pee Wee Herman when they die. CLASSIC! Lol!

  • @DumbandDumber94

There screams are less "cartooney" in the pc version!

  • wat

  • For the life of me, I don't know why you don't review 'The great Ultima's of the day' - you seem to have no problem going back to the 80's and 90's console games. Don't know why you hate the PC so much today!

  • the guy you play as looks like hes from Star Wars

  • if you like this game check out Project OverKill for PS1.

  • yep that's it I'm buying a sega saturn

  • do it dude!

  • @shanethefox better start saving LOL

  • @shanethefox You can play No Remorse & No Regret on PC.

  • @Foxstab ?

  • I used to have this for pc. there are so many buttons on the pc I couldn't imagine playing on anything but a keyboard.

Also still have a playstation port of this but it isn't as good as the cpu was back in the day.

  • is this game based on star wars?

  • I used to love this game as a kid.

I've tried so hard to run it on my PC, but to no avail.

  • try dosbox!

  • did you hear for games total recall and d.o.g, they are older

  • Looks a little like fallout 1 on PC

  • Lol i love the explosions!

  • played it on the PC and loved the music in it.

  • 0:35 Hurray, he blew up spectacularly! Muhahaha!

  • I just bought a saturn memory cart and this game came with it for free! cant wait untill its delivered ,it looks a lot of fun (love red faction btw) I may start doing some Saturn reviews now that my collection is of about 80 titles, oddly enough (is it odd?) I play my Saturn more than I do my 360.. great vid as allways , ;-)

  • U fukin fag how cud u play sega saturn mor than 360 u jackass im so pissed

Just kidding, the Sega Saturn kicks the 360's ass. ;)

  • lol , good job I did write that I also play my cd32 & 3DO sometimes as well! :-)

  • Comment removed

  • does anyone see that the red dude looks like boba fett

  • yes he does, when i 1st saw this game i thought it was a copy of star wars

  • seriously

  • I played this religiously back in the day, also on the Saturn.

An absolutely amazing game, I have some fond memories of it. Anyone remember the super shotgun type weapon that blew your enemies to giblets. Ha, best thing ever!

  • remids me of fallout 1 and 2

  • funny enough, i was reading about fallout 2 andit reminded me of this!

i need to get this game again.

  • Do more Saturn reviews!

  • ^What he said!

  • i never played this game, but now it looks like it's worth a look. Thanks for posting :)

  • Crusader and Red Faction...damn right, I had exactly the same thought. They don't make them like they used to.

  • Lol,they sound like Barney from The Simpsons

  • Haha so true.

  • crusader no remorse is one of my absolute favorite games of all time.

  • Hey InecomCompany, what's the name of the second song in this video that sounds kinda jazzy?

  • the game looks like a hybrid of Midway's classic NARC, with the perpective of the original Fallout games, only in realtime action. Add in a red helmeted Boba Fett clone, and you've got a winner! This was also available on the Psone, in addition to the PC and Saturn.

  • Narc in the arcades was awesome!! Not so much on the NES, but hey we all knew the NES wasn't as powerful and couldn't support those Nice Graphics. Anyways it still was a alright game.

  • I just got Narc for Gamecube a couple of months ago. It plays pretty much how I remember, but unfortunatly because its an emulation (and not a port) the game is glitchy. This made it very hard for me to beat Mr. Big until I caught a lucky break and the glitches started going my way.

  • heh I'm glad to hear the glitches started going your way. I still liked the nes version. Remember "Winners Don't Do Drugs" ;P

  • I got this but the CD have couple of scratch...

  • Interesting game. I had never even heard of it. It looks like it uses that campy fmv video actually pretty well. As opposed to a lot of the Sega CD games.

It definitely has a Origin/Syndicate kinda style too.

  • SOMEONE TALK TO ME

    this video was good Zc

  • I have both games for the PC! Haven't finished the 2nd one, however. I don't recall the screams being quite so lame, however.

  • Totally not Boba Fett.

  • flipping threw some of my old CD game carriers and found this game amongst my one ps one games awesome Max Kudos all around

  • I love the ending of this review...good one CGR.

I don't like when games use a CG video or real video as part of the reward for completing a level or a game. It should be complementary and support the story. This game does it well.

  • "If you don't have a bad attitude, you don't stand a chance"

    That is pure gold

  • Great review!!

I have it for the PS1., haven't played it in about 10 years. Now I'm gonna have to break it out again.

    Thanks bud!! :)

  • its like halo kinda

  • this game has nice music

  • Good to see your using the saturn!

  • Yuor rewies are so cool and fun!!

  • omfg this is so fallout !!!

only more shoot em up :P

oh and the death scream is SO FRIGGING ANNOYING

  • I was gonna say this, this looks like a real time version of the classic fallout games.

  • My dad has this game for PC still to this day. I remember him playing it back in the day. Great game. I will have to play this game now.

  • COOL

  • you need to do Diablo

  • looks like a demented version of the sims

  • elevator frag!

  • This looks a lot like Fallout.

  • You should check out a game called project overkill for the psx.

  • lol that reminds me of Zax

  • looks cool

  • u should do more nes games
