It was real tape but they softened the glue so it didn't actually hurt, and thank god we didn't have to do too many takes. We only did a couple rehearsals during the day, and then filmed it live in front of audience in the evening. That was annoying as I was freezing- and half naked in front of a studio audience! but had a dressing gown in between takes. phew.
