I didn't notice he switched at all -.-, he did it lightning fast or something. Actually another possibility is the drummer at the start was not Leehom & the real Leehom was waiting down there to appear.

basic the ones that are him playing the instruments close up are from the big screen which they pre-recorded but on the stage its other people only the singer is really him, on the big screen they just show you what they pre-recorded to look like its all him.

i think the first drummer (in blue) is the real leehom. then the real leehom switched become the singer when the attention is towards the guitarist and bassist.
