my 5 year old neice is scared of them it's funny,wacky ok my twin brother has a house that they live at & it is right by a river & he told her she can swim as long as i was with her & we got there & she just stood there looking at the river & i said what's up baby don't you wanna get in & she said um hello beavers can swim so yeah my neice thinks beaver's are out to get her

im convinced that humans evolved from beavers. its because you really dont see any other animal smart enough or capable to create buildings and what not.

@kira9931 How does it help earth ? It cuts off streams and altering the aquatic eco system in that region. The damp their created flood the area nearby, killing scores of trees and vegetation because their roots are now totally submerged. I see harms more than helps

@userkc It seems like that to the ignorant. Fact is beavers help keeps watery habitats and swamps in good shape, which is vital to quite different species. If you had basic geology classes, you'd understand why swamps and and watery habitats are very important.

u dont ned to be a predator to become the top of the food chain. if humans are not clever we will be the easiest target to be eaten( no claw no warm fur or sharp teeth... we are built to run away from predators). and also if u think about it a lot of the apes family tree dont usually eat meat but more vegetable, fruit and insect. The point is that if one animal have the ability to built and think they will become the top of food chain example human.

no, humans are high up in the food chain because of intelligence AND being good predators. dolphins are clever but you don't often see them scaring off sharks do you? plus, did you notice its called "top of the FOOD chain"? its about who eats who. and beavers are vegetarian. they can never be above another animal in the food chain because of this.

Actually Dolphins do scare off sharks. Some, like the bottle nose dolphin will slam their noses into the sharks' gills. Also Orca dolphins are known to eat sharks.
