Alyssa just turned 10 a few weeks ago. She was on a Level 3 cheer squad last year and the 3 years before that Level 2. She is no and the all star cheer team in mattoon anymore, because there was no higher level to move up to and she was ready to. she is now on a tumbling team at another gym and loves it and plans on joinging this new gym's all star cheer squad next summer. she loves cheer, dance, & tumble so much. thank u for the comment/compliment.

She is no longer attending the gym from this video. She is taking tumble at another gym and is much happier there. Check out the video at the top of the list, that is where she tumbles now and loves it.
Oh. I know a few people who tumble there. It seems like a nice gym, with good coaches. Well, if sheis happier at another gym, I guess that is good for her learning expericence. Good job Alyssa.
True. Alyssa is back at Mattoon Academy taking jr. hip hop dance class and cheer tumble class. She will be joining the Mustang Cheer Squad again this August/September 2009. She missed the instructors: Amanda, Dani, & Karissa @ Mattoon Academy. It was her decision and what she wanted to do, so she went back t MAGD in March 2009.
thats amazing. she is awesome. i have cheered for a long time and i used to be able to do a back handspring but i cant anymore. i can see her doing a roundoff back handspring back tuck in no time!!!!!!!! <3
Thank u for the comment. It took Alyssa three years to get the mental block out of her head that she could not do a backhandspring. She knew she could do it, but was scared. It took her 3 years, but she has it and does it well. She is now working on her round-off backhandspring-tuck, and roundoff back tuck.
