Ron Paul is quite simply a paleoconservative. A true libertarian supports a woman's right to choose; Paul on the other hand believe that the state should control reproductive decisions. He would compromise our security by abandoning NATO. He supports abandonment of the federal reserve which is the only thing that put the break on the stock market run after Lehman's collapse in 9/08. He is on record as publishing vile, racist newsletters in the early 90's. Not a true libertarian at all.

Let's not give up on Dr. Paul. There is a widespread effort to educate the Republican delegates meeting in September, and even if he does not have the official Republican nomination, I plan to write his name in on my ballot. I am disappointed that the Libertarians are insisting on their own candidate, rather than supporting Ron Paul. I am still a member of the Libertarian party, but I am voting on principle, not party. This is the presidency, not a team sport.

These are making privacy, rights, and liberties of U.S. citizens and even citizens worldwide completely null. If the gov labels u a terrorist, u have no rights. The federal reserve along with other institutions are some of the ills of this country. They have bought out the vote of our politicians on Washington. Dr. Paul however has consistently voted accordingly to the Constitution. Sadly, he is one of the few politicians in DC who actually uphold and defend the Constitution.

Let's not give up on Dr. Paul. There is a widespread effort to educate the Republican delegates meeting in September, and even if he does not have the official Republican nomination, I plan to write his name in on my ballot. I am disappointed that the Libertarians are insisting on their own candidate, rather than supporting Ron Paul. I am still a member of the Libertarian party, but I am voting on principle, not party. This is the presidency, not a team sport.

Unless Ron Paul wins the Repub nomination which would take an act of God, seriously consider the candidate that Ron Paul would likely vote for: Bob Barr. They are both friends and Paul has had nothing but good things to say of Barr.

Ron Paul is still in the race. If there are any libertarians, americans, republicans or democrats out there, listen up. Ron Paul has proven, repeatedly, that he cannot be bought off by big business or special interests - unlike Obama or McCain. Ron Paul supports our constitution - Obama voted for add'l tax for the U.N., McCain WANTS war. Neither Obama/McCain (check their websites) say anything substantive about the Federal Reserve. The Protect America Act, The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, and The Patriot Act r in effect. These are making privacy, rights, and liberties of U.S. citizens and even citizens worldwide completely null. If the gov labels u a terrorist, u have no rights. These Acts dont make it clear what makes someone a "radical" or what will be done with radicals. The Terrorism Prevention Act simply says that appropriate action will be taken. Dr.Paul is consistent against this.
