  • Good question. In SharePoint you need to setup an email server for routing alerts to end users. At Aqueity we have SharePoint configured to use our in-house Exchange 2010 server for delivery.

  • Thanks for uploading your video. I have a question that may seem a little silly but I want to check. Are the SP email notifications sent via a mail server such as Exchange Server 2010 or will SP generate its own email traffic?
