HJ produces great music... instant peppy numbers. I do not believe the copying bullshit though some numbers sound inspired. There are many other countless composers who just lift tunes. Harris just copies music and gets famous and because of things some really original music directors are recognized very well like bharthwaraj, sundar c, anothy vijay and vidyasakar and even yuhvan shanker raja( my favorite)

I din mean to say that he copies all. If he does then he would be out of the industry. There are good tunes like Vaseegara from Minnalae even in which the BGM sounds like Nenjinilae from Uyirae. So we can say that he got Inspirations from ARR. You can really feel that. ARR and IR different trend setters. YSR is different in his way. It is only HJ who makes music always resembling like the one Generated or Composed from "Panchathan" (ARR Studio). I too enjoy HJ music, but I enjoy hidden ARR in it

Something to tell u. Hear the song Orugalluke from Sainikudu (a telugu movie). My colleage from Andhra gave me. Just hear it if possible. ARR has given Chaiya Chaiya in Dli Se AND Thaiya Thaiya in Uyirae. Even then this song Orugalluke was composed/drrived totally from the ChaiyaChaiya/ThaiyaThaiya. No point in using the same tune composed by another MD, in some other state, thinking that people will not recognize. Pls do hear that, then u can understand.

I'm a great fan of ARR, undobtedly; but I have to accept that Harris Jayaraj too does a good job, but not to his extent. At times his music tops the charts.

This is not a real interview; the person who put it on Utube named it 'Fake Interview - Just for Fun'.

What I most like in ARR is that he experiments things and he doesn't repeat his music over & over. Above all, he's a very simple and down to earth person. I love him.

I am really surprised harris bravely accepted. its the way to go, there is nothing wrong with remixing or reusing a tune as long as the credits are given. i know people respect originality creativity. but the pressure is immense. this has been around from SD Burman age..like it or not, thats the truth..

If you want still want only hear only original songs, well you listen to Thiagarajan's sindhubairavi raagam. From that raaaga atleast 100-200 songs shall be derived.
