I agree @Apocalips320. I think that these songs can reach those who would never listened to christian music. It just shows that God can use any avenue to spread his word
Yes the lyrics are clever, but they had to know the original song to do the parody in the first place, meaning that they fill their heads with immoral garbage, first, then take music played for a man's fame, not God's and change the words. That is not Christian at all. It is a weak attempt to take from the table of devils, and the table of the LORD, we are commanded against this in 1 Corinthians 10:21, and this band has made a career of it.
@Apocalips320 I understand what you're saying, however, I don't exactly agree. Wouldn't this be an example of living in the world but not of the world?
indifferent2YouPain i think that its clever and attracting some even funny like dont bring me cows there is not really a point beside saying you like rock not scripture i can do that. so its tailored for kids o think kids find it fun and godly.
@Apocalips320 I agree with you that we should not listen to such music but it is when you act upon the immoral music and give into it that is the problem. I myself will not listen to it. The verse you speak of states that you cannot partake of both the cup of the devil and the cup of the Lord. it states nothing about turning the tool of the devil against him. which is what they have done with this song.
@1Pandaking the verse deals with what Apologetix does, how? They gut a worldly song of the words, use the same music, and 'sing it for Jesus', this is a perfect example of wanting to take from the table of demons, and of the Lord's table. This will be the last time I respond, I do not argue with people about this.
@eli7464 It doesnt matter and I dont care, unless you take the time to elaborate you are just wasting your time, you didnt bother to say WHY you disagree, did you? Is that because you cant say why? If you choose to say why, use Scripture, because I dont care about someone's opinions at all, I care about what God says!
@Apocalips320 No,because I dont feel like getting into a worthless argument.I'm just saying, have you ever thought maybe this is their way of doing things?Everyone has their own way of witnessing and maybe this is theirs..some people may not agree 100 percent on it,but regardless they're trying to do good. And so what if they listened to the song?Does that mean they're going to hell for it?No!It doesn't.
@eli7464 No one said they are going to Hell kid, calm it down. And this individualistic forms of witnessing? Jesus had one way of doing it, preach the Gospel, thats it, and music was never used for witnessing in Scripture buddy.
There are a lot of songs out there that I like, for the sound. These guys let me hear the tune, but give me lyrics that don't poison the soul. Are they really taking from the table of devils? Or are they seeing perversion of good things, and making it clean?
@SaintRegime Where did the inspiration for this worldly music come from? Things of the world, not God, so yes, they are taking from the table of the prince of this world, the devil.
@SaintRegime Stop deceiving yourself! It is clear as day! It really is! And you, and thousands upon thousands just like you cannot see that because you still enjoy worldly music, because it has been sugar coated with nice words, that it is still the same carnal filth that was made for the glory and honor of this world, made for greed, made for sex, made for drugs, made for FILTH! Ugh! Can you people really not see that this is CARNAL through and through? Goodbye, ask God to open your eyes!
what they're doing is taking what was once ungodly, and they're bringing it into the light and bringing God's breath into it, making it good. just like jesus did with all of us because we were all immoral just like that music b4 we were refined through christ just like apologetix is refining this music
Yeah! Nailed this one, too!!!! Thanks for posting Apologetix on YouTube. Our Internet needs more of the good stuff. I wanna start my first MySpace/Facebook/Twitter accounts just to share these!

@Apocalips320 should we not first understand those who go against us before we stand against them?

@1Pandaking nice try, I do understand, better than many who have commented here, and that is why I have a problem with this.

@Apocalips320 God can make good out of anything. Perhaps he's using these guys to make good out of secular songs.

@Apocalips320 God made the world. Yknow, the whole six days, and then rest? =D
Man has used what God created for the wrong purposes. That doesn't change that God made and owns every atom out there.
