  • i hope the rent in those buildings of one man's imagination are cheap, cause i'd move in.

  • this show is so horrible

  • ...Definitely too small to be an albatross.

  • ...Or a gannet.

  • ...Perhaps it's a gull.

  • Actually, you can see the UFO first at 1:31 on the top left hand side of the screen! How exciting!

  • And, as for your little argument, I think Monty Python is best described by John Cleese at 1:42

  • Anyone else notice the UFO appearing on the top right corner at 1:39?

  • Brilliant!!!!

  • im pushing on but Monty Python is and always be the best... its no holes barred off the wall, mad comedy.... Nurse, Nurse!!! my brain hurts! 5 star M.P.

  • I myself adhere to the Bergsonian idea of humour as a social sanction against inflexible behaviour.....that`s why I`m not wearing any pants as I type this.

  • Mystico and Janet - flats built by hyonosis, has to be the most brilliant explanation of the stock market ever! All you have to do is beleive!

  • "Is this character giving you any trouble?" "He's just ruined this sketch."

"It's also the first major housing project in Britain to be built entirely by characters from nineteenth-century English literature."

  • LMAO! "If we cease to believe then this building will fall down" hahahaha that's hilarious. I love the part when Idle starts to believe in the building again and the building stands up lol.

  • So upsetting!! Where are the comments about the actual EPISODE??? I'm so sick of hearing every side of this argument!!!

I just want to watch and comment on the general hilarity and genius of the Pythons IN PEACE!!! :'''''(

  • lol how can u analyse the naked man on the piano hehe and btw greg5566 stfu its a comedy show leave ur democratic loving opinions at the door ur ideas r just as gay as republicans be quiet

  • Terry looks like ron jeremy at around 4:30

  • "There is no need to panic." That's from John Cleese's other show, How to Annoy People.

  • it's a sketch comedy. Get over yourselves. Though while we are on the subject, the Republican party feigns to represent good ideals (small government, low taxation etc), the Bush years have shown us that they themselves do not believe in them and the party should therefore be avoided like the plague.

  • The housing block that was put up by hypnosis I think is one of the greatest metaphors for life I know. I think it is the single Monty Python sketch that I refer to the most. It applies to most of modern life, from religion to republicanism. It's exactly how Republicans operate. They have this fantasy world they live in. If you point out something about reality, their entire world begins to crumble until they reassure themselves, in the face of evidence to the contrary, that they are right.

  • Wow that has to be the most idiotic comment I've read. I watch this to get a few laughs in and you come on to talk about how Republicans apparently live in some sort of "fantasy world." I'm really interested in hearing what that would be, considering that you seem to blindly and ignorantly follow the Democrats as if they are the saviors of this world. I'm honestly sick of liberals accusing the Republicans of living in a fantasy world, but in reality, they don't know anything beyond the borders

  • of these United States. Anyways I'm not going to argue with someone who obviously can not be persuaded, considering he follows the religion of the Democrat party, and is so obviously misinformed about the workings of the world and of the pure danger out there; something that the Republicans kept you safe from while they held power, and something that will now lash back into the nation now that a Democrat is once again president. The world fears Republicans and loves Democrats for their weakness;

  • as evidenced by America's enemies wildly celebrating the election of Obama. Under Carter(D) the US embassy in Iran was seized by radicals and he failed to rescue them. On Reagan's (R) inauguration they were released. Does that not say a little something about the world's views of the parties in the US? Anyways I apologize to those who i've taken time from but I can not stand ignorance; especially the ignorance of this man. I also apologize for how I posted this I misclicked. Good day to you all

  • Thank you, I too come to this clip to get a few laughs, but now I get to be entertained by your comments as well! The number of bizarre assumptions you made in your comments were amazing:

    1) I blindly follow the Democrats (I said nothing of the sort, only that this clip reminds me of Republicans--more on that in a second)

  • 2) All I said was this clip reminds me of Republicans, and you say I "obviously cannot be persuaded"--that is such classic Republican projection! You can always tell what a Republican is guilty of--whatever they accuse the Democrats of, that's it.

    3) I thank God we finally have a president who will protect this country from the terrorists rather than give terrorists entirely new countries from which to operate (Iraq) and reasons to radicalize.

  • 4) You probably didn't notice this, but the worst terrorist attack in American history happened when a Republican was president. The worst response to a natural disaster in American history happened under this president. The worst financial crisis in the history of the world happened under this president. I love that you can compare the invasion of a minor embassy in a minor country to flying airplanes into the WTC and conclude that democratic presidents are bad for security!

  • Anyway, there was a time until about 4 months ago when Republicans could plausibly claim their policies lead to anything but the utter destruction of America. No longer.

My point about the "reality-based community"--that's not a Democratic concept, it's a Republican concept! In the early years of the Bush administration they ridiculed Democrats for insisting that policies and discussions should be based on reality. Now we all see the result of the enormous incompetence of the last eight years.

  • People -it's a Monty. Python. Video. Leave politics at the door, and just laugh along with the jokes. Please?

  • Come on--no matter how much they protest to the contrary, some of their stuff is political, and at least _all_ of it is commentary on the stupidity of people, which is exactly what my original post was about--that the falling down buildings remind me of the stupidity of Republicans! :)

  • @Shyyrn monty python is all about polotics, I agree it shouldn't be talked about, but I'm just pointing out that Monty Python is extremely political.

  • @Shyyrn well bloody said.... Ni, Ni, Ni.....

  • I've always loved Graham's big dumb leather '70s watch.

  • ...the bomb will explode killing everybody.

    -including you.

  • As someone living in the figment in another man's imagination, I found this hilarious!

  • Ah, Mr. Badger is great. "I'll tell you where it is for a pound."

  • I know all Michael fans will be angry at the beginning of this. XD

  • he didn't get a reporeter

  • Oh, yeah, i definately was... GRRRR

    I'm insanely jealous of Carol...

  • @pockypurse I know I am! How dare she drape herself all over him?

  • brilliant
