it's about 30-35 mph stock gearing. it seems fast if you haven't tried lipo, that's a whole new experience.

well i've heard some bad things about venom but i won't get into the details...

if you seriousley want to go fast i would recommned going lipo...it's a bigger respinsibility but it'sa worth it. siince a lipo does cost more and you'd need a better charger you would spend around 500-600 dollars. but back to your question... i think the 3000 mah would be a little slower(not really noticeable) but the thing is that battery will only run for about 10 min so be wise when choosing your battery.
