if your so unhappy with the way things are start a movement to stop paying taxes
we did it once and the outcome was pretty good for a while anyway these pepole are not kings no one should have to bow to them respect is a two way street every one reading this put them there and every one reading this can take them out there civil servents and nothing more we pay to keep them with our 16 to 18 hour work days our sweat keeps them living as well as they do and thats the sad part
i wish i had nothing better to do then get arrested over laws that dont matter... i know what they are trying to do but there are so many better ways to prove a point
Standing = submitting to their authority. Its not a matter of respect, its allowing them jurisdiction. All remain seated if you are fighting an illegal statute and go to common law and ask them to prove jurisdiction and stand by their oaths.
@meyer5515 too bad, the Canadians are in Afghanistan, the Americans have their military bases and their massive embassy in Iraq. Also, how does invading and occupying a country have anything to do with the freedom of the average American citizen?
The bloke is blocking the whole doorway himself .Just walk quickly and he'll not catch you, unless he has a small disability scooter tucked away on his person ?
THE LAND OF THE FREEEEEEEEEEeeee and the home of the sheeple .
That's just perfect let a pedophile out of jail 90 days early to make room for someone who refused to stand when the judge walked in. I'm sure if they had actually kept him for the whole 90 days someone had to go to make room for him. I'm sure they couldn't just put a hammock between the rafters to make room for him.
The progression of steps when a law is violated it begins in appearance to be civil -- a letter in the mail demanding compliance. If the recipient doesn't respond they get a knock at the door from men with guns. If the person doesn't comply a threat of arrest is issued. If the person refuses to comply a threat of being shot is issued.
Police have specific procedural steps for non-compliance. See what happens if you don't pull over. The last step is shoot to kill.
Government is men and women providing services at the barrel of a gun. Government has no voluntary support. Taxes are compulsory. Pay up or government will put you in a cage or perhaps even shoot you. Just like the mafia.
@zonsb So someone should be able to park in front of a fire hydrant or block an entrance to a hospital? That seems reasonable... I mean... If you want to break laws, that seems fine... (if you're a complete fool)
Here's a tip: don't break any traffic laws, don't go to court and charged for those laws you broke. Simple enough, right? I think so...
@043367747 Where did you get your education... Statists-R-Us? Hers a tip, there's millions of laws and everyone is breaking one or more on a weekly, if not daily basis. Yet less than 1% get "caught" and society hasn't self-destructed. For the 1% that do get caught, it's just your day in the barrel, bend over, grab your ankles and for cripes sake, use the petroleum jelly.
By your "logic" everyone should be apprehended because they broke the law. Society would then self-destruct.
@zonsb Apparently you were in the graduating class ahead of me... However, you obviously you skipped the class where you would have learned to NEVER use "everyone" as a statistic... Unless you observe every single person every single day, your stats are complete garbage.
Furthermore, where does my "logic" suggest that everyone should be apprehended? I never said anything of the sort. I merely gave two examples of how someone might get a ticket.
@zonsb Woah, woah... Slow down... You're saying the people who are providing services are holding the gun? Or they're being forced to do so by another person with a gun? What you said is worded weirdly, so I'll assume it was the first one... Sure they have guns... to shoot people who threaten them. The only thing officers are threatening people who break traffic laws with are tickets and jail time. Should the offender go further and act threateningly towards the cop, that's when the gun comes in
@043367747 No ,but that's just common sense .But there's no LAW stating you can't!There might be statutes/acts etc and because of this ,it/they require the consent of the governed .Do you consent to follow their statutes/acts etc .plain and simple ,but they don't want to tell you that fact,so educate yourself .Use the same legal jargon they use on you(legalese)against themselves .
Taxes are compulsory. "Tax" is the politically correct term for theft. Pay up or they'll will put you in a cage. "Jail" is the politically correct term for cage. Pet birds and animals at the zoo are kept in cages.
Government has no voluntary support. Taxes are compulsory. Government is men and women providing services at the barrel of a gun.
I just don't understand what the big deal is... I've dealt with enough people from NH to know that they are just a bunch of dumb, bored, and politically ignorant losers. What is the big deal about standing or sitting down? And you should be respecting the court because it is what is keeping criminals off of the street! Of course you losers in NH probably don't respect government because there are virtually no crimes there. (which is something your government helps to keep that way!). Retards.
In my younger days I was just like these guys. Nothing better to do than be a fucking pain in the ass for the sake of being a fucking pain in the ass. I guess tye dyes and long hair were traded for bad bleach blond hair and the "I'm so cool Im a rebel Goatee. Walking backwards down the stairs IS a safety isssue cause you know if you fell down the stairs and broke your dumbass you'd sue for brutality of some shit. Abby Hoffman is dead my brother.
@mrhnm Dont think for a second I need these assholes standing up for MY rights Let me worry about MY rights. They arent doing me any favors. If you need their help representing yourself thats on you and very pathetic.
@PowerfulPunch Actually you do, because the fact that these people openly challenge the authority of our arbitrary government helps to keep them from taking all of your rights away.
If you always comply with what cops want you are giving them arbitrary power. If you stand up for your rights alone they will throw you in jail and no one will hear about it. The fact that these guys are very conspicuous helps keep authority in line.
@mrhnm Actually I dont, Actually they owe me for clogging up the courts and wasting tax dollars for their stupid little hissy fits in the name of keeping big brother in check. These are just kittle people with little lives who are doing nothing more than whine " look at me" like a three year old. These people are a waste of my time and resources.
@mrhnm mon. You aren"t seriously comparing MLK and Ghandi to what these goofs are doing? Thats almost an insult to their legacy. MLK and Ghandi were standing up for millions of truly oppressed people. Yeah I know these clowns think they are doing the same but they arent. Ghandi and MLK never were strapped like these clowns. And I dont think MLK and Ghandi would of been so petty as to worry about moving couches or speeding tickets. They had a MUCH bigger picture in mind. Ur thots on Bobby Sands?
@PowerfulPunch These people are trying to prevent the nation from going farther towards totalitarianism. True our nation is the best out there at least to my knowledge, but it is moving towards a dictatorship. The Patriot Act takes your rights away. The goal as I understand it is to keep the country from becoming a police state and to move the country back towards Liberty which has been forgotten. Better to exercise their rights wrongly than not at all.
@mrhnm I think you need to live in a dictatorship or a totalitatianism government before you can make that call. There are absolutely parts of the Patriot act I dont like. I couldnt stand W or his old man. But there is a line between liberty and anarchy. These Free Staters ( and Ive lived in NH my whole life 44 years) are nothing more than people who just want attention. Not for the majority but themselves. Check on these people 10 years from now. Guaranteed they wont be doing this.
@mrhnm what isnt the government not being adherrant too constitutionally? Be specific. How is my rights in the Bill of Rights or Constitution being violated. Theres really no bigger liberal than me and I know Ron Paul isnt so tell me how am I being subservant to a police state?
@PowerfulPunch 1. The 10th amendment is being ignored. If the founders intended the gov to have a blank check why would they give specific powers to the gov, and why would they write that?
2. The 1st political correctness is a campaign to stomp out free speech. AND is endorsed by the gov
3 The 2nd it says shall not be INFRINGED, not partially infringed.
4. The 4th the TSA blatantly ignores the amendment.
@mrhnm Wow. Just showed your colors there. Kicking it back to the state . POLITICALCORECTNESS MEANS YOU CAN SAY Mick, Pollack, Kike, Jew, Nigger ( yet you SAY THESE FREE STATERS are walking in their footsteps). Seriously. Please tell me your kidding. Do you actually live in NH? Please tell me you do. You want to kick it to a state level, tell me what you think of how NH has got soft?

MLK as a similar martyr)
@PowerfulPunch I don't claim to represent these people but I do claim that what they are doing is necessary and political correctness is the opposite of what you claim.
@mrhnm Troll? is that pointed at me? Do you live in NH? thats all I asked. Ill give you my adress phone whatever. I over estimated you. You seemed have a limited knowledge. Stop listening to goofs like Ridley with his funny sounding mouth references. What is a troll? If you cant take on a life long NH resident without folding, what chance do really have?
@mrhnm Troll? is that pointed at me? Do you live in NH? thats all I asked. Ill give you my adress phone whatever. I over estimated you. You seemed have a limited knowledge. @mrhnm OK you dont live here. You want to kick the the 10th to a state level fine. Do you live in NH? I'd probably meet you for a coffee or a drink if you did. Id pay. I understand what your trying to say but heaping it on the guys as a spokesman is a joke. Im just a person trying to get thru the limited time we have. The US wont be a Nazi or a Commie state in our lifetime.
@PowerfulPunch No I don't live in NH, I live in NM, I'm not trying to kick the 10th back to the states I'm just pointing out that your rights are being infringed. From what I have heard and seen NH seems pretty nice. Now I understand that the US probably won't be a commie state in our lifetime but that is the direction we are heading.
To give you some perspective in NM the cops shoot people for walking away from them. I shit you not they did that and the cop wasn't even thrown in jail.
@mrhnm Ive often wanted to visit NM. Taos seems pretty cool ( my hero actor Dennis Hopper lived there), Billy the Kid, a friend of mine who lived in Clovis Desert and snow. I saw the issues of a town that there police dept got dissolved for helping drug gangs import into the US. Ghandi, MLK, Bobby Sands, Jesus Christ, Mohahmed, Vishnu, Buddha, Jehovah, name it. But David Ridley? I think not. Hes a self serving cult wanna be. Exercise your pursuits for political interests for better things
@mrhnm Ok so your some sort of spam or aetheist gig. Fine. Worrying about whitey? fine. You cant back up your shit. Fine. Wanna try and get it together being a black man whos an atheist living in a whitet mans world?? Fine. You wanna use me as some web site dumb ass . FINE. your a moron ass lickin Uncle Tom douche.
@mrhnm Did you just compare this to MLK and Gandhi? Have you ever read a history book? Anyways if you think these cops are bad, you should see the cops in NYC. But here's the thing - cops have to be ass holes in order to make people submit. What if people just went around and did whatever they liked and never worried about cops? But you are obviously too dumb to understand that concept. Ever wonder why people don't take you seriously? Grow the fuck up and stop living in a bubble.
@crankspider101 Cops shouldn't be about making people submit they should be about protecting rights. Granted that job may require them to make people submit but shouldn't be their primary function. Now days it seems like their primary job is keeping people from questioning authority.
Did Ghandi use civil disobedience? Did MLK use civil disobedience? Did this guy use civil disobedience? I did not say that NHLM has it as bad as MLK or Ghandi did I?
@mrhnm They ARE about protecting rights though. They are protecting the right to an organized courtroom which gives the person being held on trial security and allows the proceedings to go on without distraction. Have you ever been arrested and had to make an appearance at court? I have, and it would have been very frustrating if people were standing up, walking around, talking, making distractions, etc. Have you ever spoken to a cop anyways? They are good people, but have to deal with assholes
@crankspider101 Yes I have talked to cops. My father was in Law Enforcement for 22 years among other things. But cops have drifted away from protecting rights and into enforcing the state's power. We used to call them 'peace officers' because their job was to keep the peace. Now we call them 'Law Enforcement' because their job is to enforce laws no matter how unjust they are.
@mrhnm You are missing the obvious point. Cops are doing their job. They have to follow the laws that the politicians that YOU elect put in place. If they don't, they will lose their job and put their family at risk. Don't blame the cops, blame your lawmakers! I don't see how that is so hard to comprehend....
@crankspider101 I don't elect these assholes. I either don't vote or when I do I vote for a libertarian candidate. Also I realize that cops are only doing their jobs, but they don't have to be assholes about it, they don't have to make up rules on the fly, they don't have to commit perjury, they don't have to 'solve' crimes by moving to prosecute people that had nothing to do with the crime, they don't have to let each other off when their fraternity brothers break the law. But many do
@mrhnm Now that is a coherent argument, and I can respect you for that. But this argument has little to nothing to do with the video and the "cause" that those assholes in the video are "fighting" for. If you want to fight corruption in law enforcement, then you must educate people about it and once again go to your politicians. And I'm sorry to hear that you don't vote, that is a right that many people don't have. Although the American voting system is totally fucked up. Look up approval voting
@crankspider101 I didn't say I don't vote. I said if I do I vote for a libertarian candidate. That isn't even set in stone I just vote for who has a good record and is saying things that make sense to me. I'm not voting for someone I think is stupid, untrustworthy, unethical, and bad, just so that I can have the "pleasure" of saying I vote.
The politicians are just as corrupt as the cops I'm talking about.
These people seem to want to keep the government in check and rein it in.
@mrhnm "I either don't vote..." but yes anyways I see your point now. Yes many politicians are very corrupt and it is sad. And yes many politicians (and some cops as well) use government as a means to control people. Now we are seeing eye-to-eye. It isn't fair to accuse cops of of being bad though. I know MANY cops, and most of them are looking out for the best - if you show them respect, they will return it. But they can't just ignore the breaking of laws and rules. You understand of course.
@crankspider101 I understand that the cops can't ignore the breaking of rules and laws. But some laws have to be broken. And so do some rules.
Either you will break them enough that they will become unenforceable or through political change you will get people in office who repeal them.
And I don't vote at every election. For example at the last governatorial election (NM) there wasn't anyone that I was aware of running that was worth a shit so I didn't waste my time.
@mrhnm You're right some rules do have to be broken. Which is why you are entitled to a lawyer to argue in your favor and explain the circumstances. You don't necessarily have to get politicians to change, but you can have petitions and raise awareness. It takes effort, but efforts will be rewarded. And approval voting is a voting system that you might find interesting. I wish the U.S. adapted it. Basically everyone votes for as many candidates as they want which results in a moderate candidate
@mrhnm Actually right now the status quo is moderate conservative, but that's a whole different debate. And I meant moderate in the sense that they will better represent the majority (and because the majority of voters believe in libertarian policies, that means more politicians who will work to protect rights). Of course it is difficult to establish in this country because our politicians care more about the party than about the people. But thats a whole other debate.
@crankspider101 That's the stupidest excuse I ever heard. They're doing their job, so that makes it ok, even if they use unnecessary attacks on a person like beating them up or tazering them. What if it was illegal to pick your nose and a cop arrests you? Does that make it ok? Cops are not supposed to bend people to their will, they're supposed to, let's see, serve and protect, and they've done neither. Most cops are egotistical assholes who want a paycheck and bully people around.
@Yabuturtle Yes, there are unnecessary attacks. And it is always sad to hear about them. But again (because obviously you are too stupid to understand this) it is the laws of the POLITICIANS that they have to enforce. If POLITICIANS make a law that says u can't pick your nose, then it's the fault of the people who elected those politicians. You say you are 18, but you have the mental capacity of a 6 year old by Piagetian psychology standards. But you probably don't know what that is.
@crankspider101 I'm aware it;s the politicians that do it. That's not always the case because what if you elected someone you thought was decent or was decent at one point but then became corrupt and start issuing laws like that. Unless you can see in the future, you're not sure what laws they'll make. And a cop, if he has any sort of morality will not enforce the law because it's wrong. I wouldn't do the stuff they do, even if it meant losing my job.
@Yabuturtle I agree on the politician thing, but once again, you cannot blame the cops. It is difficult for one to put himself in the position of a cop when he has never been in that position. Although the willingness to lose your job in order to do what you feel is right is commendable; however, let's assume that you have a family that you need to support. You must also be cautious that someone will assault you. (It's different here in NYC obviously).
@crankspider101 You're family will most likely understand if you quit your job. Put yourself in the cops position. Would you honestly be able to sleep at night, knowing full well you were enforcing a law you knew was wrong? I sure as hell wouldn't be able to sleep.
@crankspider101 Yeah, that was point. You'd most likely wouldn't be able to sleep doing all of that, especially if they expected you to enforce it in a harsh unnecessary way.
@Yabuturtle I respect your point. It is difficult for many individuals in law enforcement. But the number of rules that are unjust are relatively few in number (although granted some states have extremely unfair laws that do indeed limit individual rights). I do have a biased opinion coming from NY, but your opinions are biased as well. There are many unjust laws and unjust cops; but with enough political support, such laws can be fixed. But one must be respectful and understanding as wel.
When he asked for the law against walking backwards, that cop on the stairs couldn't help IT and busted out laughing!! LOL These guys are total control freaks! They are 500 lb Barney Fifes! HA HA he LOL! They are jokes!
@deadadelta Everyone is entitled to a FAIR and IMPARTIAL TRIAL, if a Judge brings the Charge can he be IMPARTIAL=NO
You should ask the JUDGE to RECUSE himself, You have 6 Months to file a Claim against a EVIL act by the City & 2 Years against the County or State in Alabma, if they fail to Settle then you can file a Law Suit
Taking away a persons FREEDOM with EVIL is a Violation of their Civil Rights File Suit in FED COURT
what bs.. these guys are trying to make being disrescpectfull a good thing..be kind respectfull and courteous...stop calling cops pigs...i hope you catch a bullet...everyone thinks there badass till there in a lead shower..
Look at these F'ers coming in at 3:35!!! I can't believe this! I had to stop this video to write this so I wouldn't miss anything... You were making it hard for people to get out of the door? BULL! His fat ass was! Then he says its a fire escape? Who gives a damn! If a fire happens, you'll ALL start running! What an ASS the fat guy is! This is insane! And now some cops are coming??? What's the big deal?! OMG!
Who the hell does the cop think he is?! He says you have to turn off the camera? WHY?!
@ashkaji Sorry to say it but all normal people would think that cameraman is a clown because of his behaviour and would definitely laugh at him and certainly not of the police and the other guy.
@hpprinter12345 you really shouldn't be, I mean you do know how to be respectful don't you......they don't ask for much.....just bc you respect the law doesn't mean you're kissing their ass lol...
What a joke the cops are! Gestapo! Heil Hitler! Hell I have been in courtrooms where there is an OBVIOUS violation of fire code. Standing room only. And none of the pigs said anything about safety! I called the fire marshal and reported the incident and he admitted to knowing the hazard to life and propery but he chose to do NOTHING! Do they let other business slide like that? HARDLY! Stand up American slaves against this fraud before YOU end up in ovens! The courts are a FRAUD!
(continued). I'm sure I'm not the only person who might have this opinion.
As far as 'not standing because you don't respect the judge/court", again, I understand why people might do this, but how about this thought? If you don't have any business in the court to begin with, besides civil disobediance, why be there? If you have business, and want to do this, and waste other peoples time, that''s your right...otherwise, pick your battles more clearly.
I understand the point of this, but I have to ask a couple of things....
1-Courts are busy enough without this type of civil disobediance. I've had court cases, both criminal and family, that would have been slowed down even more if people were doing these things.
2-Assuming you have the right to record in court is a double edged sword. If I was a defendant, regardless of the charge, I certainly don't want other people knowing my business. I should have a right to some privacy.
@PostToastie Sweet! Someone else calling me a slave! I hate to tell you this, but infringing on the other peoples rights to due process doesn't make you a martyr. Makes you single-minded and selfish.
If you go to court to protest by not standing, when you have no official business being there, you are infringing on the other people who know how to act in a court of law.
It's not about being a slave to the system, it's learning how to work within it.
@WarInBed You act however you want in court, I'm not going to tell you that you have to stand or sit, you just do whatever your little heart desires, ok?
@PostToastie You obviously miss the point I'm making, so I'll leave it at this: If you have OFFICIAL business in court, and want to defy a judge's order, have at it. But don't be upset if you decide to invoke your right to be an ass when you don't need to be there, get jailed, and have someone like myself standing and appauding the judge for not putting up with your childish white class spoiled ass.
@PostToastie How do I answer this....well, simply put, there are people that are there asserting their rights to a fair trial. This means you need to act accordingly, such as standing when the judge enters the courtroom. Why should you do this? Well, you are showing respect that he/she will act bi-partisan, and fair. NOT standing when he/she enters shows contempt, and sure isn't going to help you get a fair trial.
You get more flies with honey than shit. Basic childhood teachings.
@PostToastie You can type, but cannot read. Reminds me of an old saying "Give a million monkeys a million typewritters and they'll reproduce the works of Shakespeare"...apparently this same person never dreamed of running into people like you on the internet.
is this how you get an adrenaline rush by harassing people doing their job, or better put preventing them from doing their job because they have to deal with your nonsense which amounts to you proving to them that you have freedom? sorry but i really don't buy this activity at all and can understand the judges impatience with the whole lot of ya. seriously find something actually constructive to do and quit wasting tax payer money, my opinion only.
Lol this stuff is great, the quick retorts are great too! I'm thinking the judge may have felt threatened, and that's why he was so anxious to have him put into cuffs; yet and still, I'm sure the judge should understand the confusion that the plaintiff/ defendant had. You guys are not "losers" btw either (as stated by "301gunnar")..you want justice as we should all desire, and you work at exposing injustice. I totally feel you guys!! Chicago is full of the bullshit crooked law!
@JosieB1113 if he was a peace officer he could have charged them with obstruction of a peace officer performing his/her duties. thats an accual crime.
When the Judge enters the room everyone must stand. This means that you give consent to his jurisdiction over you. It goes back to the olden days. The court clerk must take notice of this and bring this up when your trial comes up.
i know this is from 2008.... but wtf if i wouldnt have watched this i wouldnt have believed it, the cops walking out the door seemed to think it was a joke...im just shocked
Victimless crimes should never involve jail time. Who is the victim if someone doesn't stand because a judge enters the room? Respect cannot be legislated or demanded, only earned.
@NYSP22DAVID Right... because we never reach an age where we don't need a 'mommy' to tell us what to do anymore. We just couldn't cope without one because we're all very 'mature'.
I respect & love you guys - I love the stairs comment - can you tell me under what law demands I go down stairs facing forward & can you show me? - I did laugh - it just goes to show that when they put on their costumes it transforms them into tyrants and they will try to impose restrictions & ANY kind of statute instrument to create fines to generate revenue for their new car, house etc its pathetic - Peace, Love & Life xx
that guy is right, you need to abide by legal procedure it is legal procedure and the guy filming is breaking a federal procedure (fire code) the video camera is a violation of privacy in court it is also illegal to film outside any where in any ways shapes and or forms it is standard legal procedure
Honestly, YES i get it, there is corruption in the judicial system but to be such a pain in the ass when these people are just simply trying to do their jobs. THEIR superiors ordered them to have these guys removed because they were recording.. and now there's heavy traffic flow, they are being asked to leave.. it's not a big deal BUT THIS prick is giving everyone a hard time...
NOT EVERYONE is a jackass. You can't take it out on society in general.
@khunag No, I understand and agree. Its just the whole, "I'm a rebel!! I'm a rebel!! Oh, wait...go to jail?? No, I uh, got some stuff I gotta do...maybe next week, ok?" Thats a true believer, there! I lol'd irl over that.

Def: Can I get a fair trial if there is a conflict of interest.
Judge: No.
Def: Who do you represent? (The judge is paid by the State.)
Judge: I'm not going to answer any more off your questions.
Whenever the State is the plaintiff the judge is supposed to recuse him/herself. Traffic court is a gargantuan scam to take people's money.
zonsb 6 months ago
@zonsb So someone should be able to park in front of a fire hydrant or block an entrance to a hospital? That seems reasonable... I mean... If you want to break laws, that seems fine... (if you're a complete fool)
Here's a tip: don't break any traffic laws, don't go to court and charged for those laws you broke. Simple enough, right? I think so...
043367747 6 months ago
@043367747 Where did you get your education... Statists-R-Us? Hers a tip, there's millions of laws and everyone is breaking one or more on a weekly, if not daily basis. Yet less than 1% get "caught" and society hasn't self-destructed. For the 1% that do get caught, it's just your day in the barrel, bend over, grab your ankles and for cripes sake, use the petroleum jelly.
By your "logic" everyone should be apprehended because they broke the law. Society would then self-destruct.
zonsb 6 months ago
@zonsb Apparently you were in the graduating class ahead of me... However, you obviously you skipped the class where you would have learned to NEVER use "everyone" as a statistic... Unless you observe every single person every single day, your stats are complete garbage.
Furthermore, where does my "logic" suggest that everyone should be apprehended? I never said anything of the sort. I merely gave two examples of how someone might get a ticket.
043367747 6 months ago
@043367747 What part of government is men and women providing services at the barrel of a gun do you not understand?
zonsb 6 months ago
@zonsb Woah, woah... Slow down... You're saying the people who are providing services are holding the gun? Or they're being forced to do so by another person with a gun? What you said is worded weirdly, so I'll assume it was the first one... Sure they have guns... to shoot people who threaten them. The only thing officers are threatening people who break traffic laws with are tickets and jail time. Should the offender go further and act threateningly towards the cop, that's when the gun comes in
043367747 6 months ago

Retards.

@PowerfulPunch Yeah cause standing up for your rights or sitting down is just something people do to be a pain in the ass.
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm Dont think for a second I need these assholes standing up for MY rights Let me worry about MY rights. They arent doing me any favors. If you need their help representing yourself thats on you and very pathetic.
PowerfulPunch 7 months ago
@PowerfulPunch Actually you do, because the fact that these people openly challenge the authority of our arbitrary government helps to keep them from taking all of your rights away.
If you always comply with what cops want you are giving them arbitrary power. If you stand up for your rights alone they will throw you in jail and no one will hear about it. The fact that these guys are very conspicuous helps keep authority in line.
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm Actually I dont, Actually they owe me for clogging up the courts and wasting tax dollars for their stupid little hissy fits in the name of keeping big brother in check. These are just kittle people with little lives who are doing nothing more than whine " look at me" like a three year old. These people are a waste of my time and resources.

@PowerfulPunch They are doing the same thing that Martin Luther King Jr. did and the same thing that Gandhi did and it worked for them.
Do you think that keeping the government in check is wrong?
mrhnm 7 months ago
PowerfulPunch 7 months ago
@PowerfulPunch These people are trying to prevent the nation from going farther towards totalitarianism. True our nation is the best out there at least to my knowledge, but it is moving towards a dictatorship. The Patriot Act takes your rights away. The goal as I understand it is to keep the country from becoming a police state and to move the country back towards Liberty which has been forgotten. Better to exercise their rights wrongly than not at all.
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm I think you need to live in a dictatorship or a totalitatianism government before you can make that call. There are absolutely parts of the Patriot act I dont like. I couldnt stand W or his old man. But there is a line between liberty and anarchy. These Free Staters ( and Ive lived in NH my whole life 44 years) are nothing more than people who just want attention. Not for the majority but themselves. Check on these people 10 years from now. Guaranteed they wont be doing this.

PowerfulPunch 7 months ago
@PowerfulPunch 1. The 10th amendment is being ignored. If the founders intended the gov to have a blank check why would they give specific powers to the gov, and why would they write that?
2. The 1st political correctness is a campaign to stomp out free speech. AND is endorsed by the gov
3 The 2nd it says shall not be INFRINGED, not partially infringed.
4. The 4th the TSA blatantly ignores the amendment.
5. The 5th amendment... secret prisons.

@PowerfulPunch No I don't live in NH, I live in NM, I'm not trying to kick the 10th back to the states I'm just pointing out that your rights are being infringed. To give you some perspective in NM the cops shoot people for walking away from them. I shit you not they did that and the cop wasn't even thrown in jail.

mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm Did you just compare this to MLK and Gandhi? Have you ever read a history book? Anyways if you think these cops are bad, you should see the cops in NYC. But here's the thing - cops have to be ass holes in order to make people submit. What if people just went around and did whatever they liked and never worried about cops? But you are obviously too dumb to understand that concept. Ever wonder why people don't take you seriously? Grow the fuck up and stop living in a bubble.
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 Cops shouldn't be about making people submit they should be about protecting rights. Granted that job may require them to make people submit but shouldn't be their primary function. Now days it seems like their primary job is keeping people from questioning authority.
Did Ghandi use civil disobedience? Did MLK use civil disobedience? Did this guy use civil disobedience? I did not say that NHLM has it as bad as MLK or Ghandi did I?
In NM the cops shoot people for walking away.
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm They ARE about protecting rights though. They are protecting the right to an organized courtroom which gives the person being held on trial security and allows the proceedings to go on without distraction. Have you ever been arrested and had to make an appearance at court? I have, and it would have been very frustrating if people were standing up, walking around, talking, making distractions, etc. Have you ever spoken to a cop anyways? They are good people, but have to deal with assholes
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 Yes I have talked to cops. My father was in Law Enforcement for 22 years among other things. But cops have drifted away from protecting rights and into enforcing the state's power. We used to call them 'peace officers' because their job was to keep the peace. Now we call them 'Law Enforcement' because their job is to enforce laws no matter how unjust they are.
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm You are missing the obvious point. Cops are doing their job. They have to follow the laws that the politicians that YOU elect put in place. If they don't, they will lose their job and put their family at risk. Don't blame the cops, blame your lawmakers! I don't see how that is so hard to comprehend....
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 I don't elect these assholes. I either don't vote or when I do I vote for a libertarian candidate. Also I realize that cops are only doing their jobs, but they don't have to be assholes about it, they don't have to make up rules on the fly, they don't have to commit perjury, they don't have to 'solve' crimes by moving to prosecute people that had nothing to do with the crime, they don't have to let each other off when their fraternity brothers break the law. But many do
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm Now that is a coherent argument, and I can respect you for that. But this argument has little to nothing to do with the video and the "cause" that those assholes in the video are "fighting" for. If you want to fight corruption in law enforcement, then you must educate people about it and once again go to your politicians. And I'm sorry to hear that you don't vote, that is a right that many people don't have. Although the American voting system is totally fucked up. Look up approval voting
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 I didn't say I don't vote. I said if I do I vote for a libertarian candidate. That isn't even set in stone I just vote for who has a good record and is saying things that make sense to me. I'm not voting for someone I think is stupid, untrustworthy, unethical, and bad, just so that I can have the "pleasure" of saying I vote.
The politicians are just as corrupt as the cops I'm talking about.
These people seem to want to keep the government in check and rein it in.
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm "I either don't vote..." but yes anyways I see your point now. Yes many politicians are very corrupt and it is sad. And yes many politicians (and some cops as well) use government as a means to control people. Now we are seeing eye-to-eye. It isn't fair to accuse cops of of being bad though. I know MANY cops, and most of them are looking out for the best - if you show them respect, they will return it. But they can't just ignore the breaking of laws and rules. You understand of course.
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 I understand that the cops can't ignore the breaking of rules and laws. But some laws have to be broken. And so do some rules.
Either you will break them enough that they will become unenforceable or through political change you will get people in office who repeal them.
And I don't vote at every election. For example at the last governatorial election (NM) there wasn't anyone that I was aware of running that was worth a shit so I didn't waste my time.
Approval voting?
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm You're right some rules do have to be broken. Which is why you are entitled to a lawyer to argue in your favor and explain the circumstances. You don't necessarily have to get politicians to change, but you can have petitions and raise awareness. It takes effort, but efforts will be rewarded. And approval voting is a voting system that you might find interesting. I wish the U.S. adapted it. Basically everyone votes for as many candidates as they want which results in a moderate candidate
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 I don't like moderates. The statu quo is moderate. I want liberty.
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm Actually right now the status quo is moderate conservative, but that's a whole different debate. And I meant moderate in the sense that they will better represent the majority (and because the majority of voters believe in libertarian policies, that means more politicians who will work to protect rights). Of course it is difficult to establish in this country because our politicians care more about the party than about the people. But thats a whole other debate.
crankspider101 7 months ago

mrhnm 7 months ago

crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 The status quo...
mrhnm 7 months ago
@mrhnm Sadly, that is very true.
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 That's the stupidest excuse I ever heard. They're doing their job, so that makes it ok, even if they use unnecessary attacks on a person like beating them up or tazering them. What if it was illegal to pick your nose and a cop arrests you? Does that make it ok? Cops are not supposed to bend people to their will, they're supposed to, let's see, serve and protect, and they've done neither. Most cops are egotistical assholes who want a paycheck and bully people around.
Yabuturtle 7 months ago
@Yabuturtle Yes, there are unnecessary attacks. And it is always sad to hear about them. But again (because obviously you are too stupid to understand this) it is the laws of the POLITICIANS that they have to enforce. If POLITICIANS make a law that says u can't pick your nose, then it's the fault of the people who elected those politicians. You say you are 18, but you have the mental capacity of a 6 year old by Piagetian psychology standards. But you probably don't know what that is.
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 I'm aware it;s the politicians that do it. That's not always the case because what if you elected someone you thought was decent or was decent at one point but then became corrupt and start issuing laws like that. Unless you can see in the future, you're not sure what laws they'll make. And a cop, if he has any sort of morality will not enforce the law because it's wrong. I wouldn't do the stuff they do, even if it meant losing my job.
Yabuturtle 7 months ago
@Yabuturtle I agree on the politician thing, but once again, you cannot blame the cops. It is difficult for one to put himself in the position of a cop when he has never been in that position. Although the willingness to lose your job in order to do what you feel is right is commendable; however, let's assume that you have a family that you need to support. You must also be cautious that someone will assault you. (It's different here in NYC obviously).
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 You're family will most likely understand if you quit your job. Put yourself in the cops position. Would you honestly be able to sleep at night, knowing full well you were enforcing a law you knew was wrong? I sure as hell wouldn't be able to sleep.
Yabuturtle 7 months ago
@Yabuturtle Maybe. It's a scary thought, really. It's difficult to put oneself in that position. At least for me.
crankspider101 7 months ago
@crankspider101 Yeah, that was point. You'd most likely wouldn't be able to sleep doing all of that, especially if they expected you to enforce it in a harsh unnecessary way.
Yabuturtle 7 months ago
@Yabuturtle I respect your point. It is difficult for many individuals in law enforcement. But the number of rules that are unjust are relatively few in number (although granted some states have extremely unfair laws that do indeed limit individual rights). I do have a biased opinion coming from NY, but your opinions are biased as well. There are many unjust laws and unjust cops; but with enough political support, such laws can be fixed. But one must be respectful and understanding as wel.

WarInBed 11 months ago
I understand the point of this, but I have to ask a couple of things....
1-Courts are busy enough without this type of civil disobediance. I've had court cases, both criminal and family, that would have been slowed down even more if people were doing these things.
2-Assuming you have the right to record in court is a double edged sword. If I was a defendant, regardless of the charge, I certainly don't want other people knowing my business. I should have a right to some privacy.
WarInBed 11 months ago
@WarInBed You don't have any rights, so shut up and do as you are told, slave.
PostToastie 11 months ago
@PostToastie Sweet! Someone else calling me a slave! I hate to tell you this, but infringing on the other peoples rights to due process doesn't make you a martyr. Makes you single-minded and selfish.
WarInBed 11 months ago
@WarInBed Who's rights were infringed upon?
PostToastie 11 months ago
@PostToastie Again, if I have to explain....
If you go to court to protest by not standing, when you have no official business being there, you are infringing on the other people who know how to act in a court of law.
It's not about being a slave to the system, it's learning how to work within it.
WarInBed 11 months ago
@WarInBed You act however you want in court, I'm not going to tell you that you have to stand or sit, you just do whatever your little heart desires, ok?
PostToastie 11 months ago
@PostToastie You obviously miss the point I'm making, so I'll leave it at this: If you have OFFICIAL business in court, and want to defy a judge's order, have at it. But don't be upset if you decide to invoke your right to be an ass when you don't need to be there, get jailed, and have someone like myself standing and appauding the judge for not putting up with your childish white class spoiled ass.
WarInBed 11 months ago
@WarInBed How do you figure?
PostToastie 11 months ago
@PostToastie How do I answer this....well, simply put, there are people that are there asserting their rights to a fair trial. This means you need to act accordingly, such as standing when the judge enters the courtroom. Why should you do this? Well, you are showing respect that he/she will act bi-partisan, and fair. NOT standing when he/she enters shows contempt, and sure isn't going to help you get a fair trial.
You get more flies with honey than shit. Basic childhood teachings.

Wow! I could be in big trouble! Sometimes I stand to pee, and sometimes I sit--surely I'm breaking a regulation on one of those!

is this how you get an adrenaline rush by harassing people doing their job, or better put preventing them from doing their job because they have to deal with your nonsense which amounts to you proving to them that you have freedom? sorry but i really don't buy this activity at all and can understand the judges impatience with the whole lot of ya. seriously find something actually constructive to do and quit wasting tax payer money, my opinion only.

The court clerk must take notice of this and bring this up when your trial comes up.

haha you made the cop laugh at 4:36

Victimless crimes should never involve jail time. Who is the victim if someone doesn't stand because a judge enters the room? Respect cannot be legislated or demanded, only earned.

@NYSP22DAVID I completely agree. There are reasons to challenge authority, be this guy has failed to present a single one.
NidisListenstoShit 1 year ago
