The strokes were called the saviors of rock n roll when they came out and they did cause in 01 it was just bullshit music and this album came and it was refreashing! But I feel like is this is is kinda a new York sound like velvet underground and stuff like that. But the white stripes and kings of Leon debut albums were just rocking with the blues and rockin dirty south rock n roll which is what rock n roll is all about.
