Her premise is simple: If MediCare (an ACTUAL example of 'socialized medicine' that saves people's lives) isn't unconstitutional, then the Affordable Health Care Act (giving money to poor people so they can buy PRIVATE insurance, which isn't 'socialized medicine' in ANY way) can't be unconstitutional either.

Just because you don't like Obama, it doesn't make the bill 'unconstitutional'.

During the 2008 debates, Obama came out against the 'Health care Mandate' because he was for the 'Public Option' instead. Later, he gave up the Public Option (because you guys called it 'socialized medicine'?) and went with the REPUBLICAN ('Free Market Solution!') idea to appease them. And what did he get for that compromise? Zero votes AND the republicans calling THEIR IDEA unconstitutional?

Although it has been said millions of times in the media that no ER can deny health care to individuals......that statement is NOT entirely accurate.

Any ER by law HAS to treat people..yes..but they treat people for immediate needs. If I have a heart attack they will save my life (and then send me home). BUT if I needed follow up care such as a heart transplant or a specialist, THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE that.
