  • @payupho20 chest, triceps and even shoulders. Single arm pushups do more my my arms and shoulders than they do for my chest.

    Check out a guy named Scooby on here for some good beginner advice.

  • @steleos88 Hes a bodybuilder and a powerlifter. Of coarse he dos. Divide the protein grams by the serving size, this will give you the percentage of protein. The higher the better. An example is I have whey protein isolate it has 25 grams of protein per serving.A serving size is 28.4 grams. So 25 divided by 28.4 is 88% protein. Stuff like Syntha-6 is only 50% protein, that stinks.

  • Hey got a quick question,

    basicly i got a high metabolism , i eat n eat n eat but really struggle putting on weight i been on a diet (pfht call it a diet i can eat what i like) where im eating a meal every 2 hours and still burn off what i eat. the problem is most of my excersizes are cardio i.e soccer , ice hockey and mixed martial arts.

    But recently i been wanting to put some more weight on to build up more to up my game play , do you know of any methods of keeping the weight on.

  • @sealey5 buhhh juu!!! lucky bastard, you want gain weight, just eat 3 big meals at day,, and just stop play soccer and ice hockey cause in one soccer game you probably run about 6 to 9 miles thats a lot of cardio, thats why nfl players use the off season to make muscle , cause in season they lose a lot muscle. and come on put some weight on those bars , chest at least 180 lbs, and biceps with 50 lbs and you will see the change, but like this man its hard

  • @sealey5 GOMAD, Drink a Gallon Of Milk A Day in addition to your meals and you will gain weight. But you have to do some resistance training too, Squats Deads, Benching and Pull ups are a good place to start

  • @sealey5 work out how many calories you burn during your average day and then eat more than that amount... that simple... you can find metabolic calorie counters online... everyone has a basal metabolic rate, which means resting metabolism (how many calories you would burn doing absolutely nothing. my basal rate is 1700 cals then i add my gym workout to it which is about 200cals, 1900cals, then walking around the house and been active in other places 600cals, 2500 cals, justeatmorethanwotuburn..

  • @halfmanhalfman Working out becomes a way of life like going to work. You have good days and bad days, never knowing till that day. Set long term goals and short term goals, if you dont achieve them don't quit. Take a picture of yourself to see how you have changed if you want motivation. Its like watching grass grow. You look at it all the time when you work out and don't see anything. But if you have photos to compare you can see the differance.

  • @halfmanhalfman The biggest problem with young guys is they don't take the time to recover and overtrain. Muscles grow when you rest not lift. Lifting breaks the muscles down then your body repairs those muscles when you rest. Muscle growth is a slow process. Do not work out the same muscle group within 48 hours.

  • @halfmanhalfman You can work out every other day just not the same muscle group. Example: You did legs on Monday, Tuesday you due chest/tricepts, Thursday back/bicepts, ect. Also if your trying to get bigger you must eat more, especialy protein.

    2 eggwhites

    Then bake it in a pan for a few mins with oil till its well cooked. this will give u some good proteins it cheap and it fills u up for a few hours.

  • you can eat foods which produce natural proteins or supplement it with protein whey your choice, most people opt to use protein powder because its easier then gathering a bunch of food to give your body the essentials it needs.

  • it's for endurance and muscle enlargement that's why he doesnt need to do hard to go all way down cause his muscle will easy fatigue.

  • The plane is synonymous with your back. Basically, when your elbows go past your back going down, that's breaking the plane. They taught us to not do that, so that your muscles stay engaged and to save your shoulder from too much stress.

  • Oh, ok, is that UK? Didn't mean it in a bad way, respect to all military. But didn't they ever mention about breaking the plane on your pushups in basic training?

  • In addition to what SakoYo said, a rule of thumb is to not break the plane. Meaning when you go down, elbows shouldn't go past your back. Army guys know this rule. 3 reasons:

    1) On pushups, going all the way down can put more pressure on shoulders which injures easily

    2) Keeps muscles engaged. Going past the plane lets the chest/tricep relax just a little. Negates the point of resistance.

    3) Cuts down on cheating by limiting momentum. Makes you work against constant resistance.

  • This is an explosive one-arm pushup which means, it's going to be a little harder than a regular one arm pushup. He is doing half the range of motion so he can maintain intensity within the workout. If you were training for reps or endurance, would you go with the heaviest weight you can lift? Obviously not .

  • My buddy at the gym is a personal trainer former..former military person...and a arena football player.....he built just like you....he all natural.. hes been working out since 8th grade too. he 6'2. and say hes 205.... he said when he was big he was 220.. Hes cut like you....im 205...but more body fat....If i wanted to be like that...i would halfto build more mass then cut down to.. your videos are great....hope you win....

  • To become a IFBB pro, you must have great dedication in all the following: diet, training, carido, and supplementation both legal and illegal. I have known many IFBB pros and I do respect their work ethic. The only difference is that I am not willing to put my health at risk or do I wish to me some 200 plus lbs monster walking around. It's a choice. I believe many IFBB pros would look like myself without the drugs, but that is not what they want, the want to be in the IFBB
