Fatal Frame revolves more around old, Japanese horror stories and putting to rest souls that were victims of traumatizing rituals or events, usually all in order to solve a mystery around a particular haunting that is causing a problem for the main protagonist's relationship with someone else or other people in general. There are 4 games so far. Fatal Frame 2, Crimson Butterfly, is a personal favorite of mine.

That's what a lot of people hate about this game is the fact you're using a camera as a weapon. Well let me just ruin every other first/third person survival horrors that use a gun or a knife. Whenever you go into a haunted location with guns blazing, think of your character being Arnold Schwarzenegger in ANY of his action films. Or maybe even Sylvester Stallone in any of his. Wow! Arnold and Sylvester fighting zombies, hallucinations or ghosts with GUNS and KNIVES!!! EXPLOSIONS! BEST GAME EVER!
