  • Hw can you solve the problem bring by the torque twist?it is really hard to prevent it from getting off the plane.

  • I'm impressed, good job. I am building the XR10 and I'll be more that happy if my rig does that kind of crawling!

  • sand paper

  • how did you get rid of the torque twist???

  • where did you mount your batteries to do this

  • It was a 7 cell split pack mounted to the front axle.

  • Man that thing is crawling hella steep for a stock setup . If i read your post right thats pretty dang good there bro. Just curious is that the RTR kit out of the box? I got a SC8 and a Traxxas slash but despite the speed difference the rock crawlers now appeal to me. It looks like a it takes skills 2 give bragging rights but looks fun at a rc cwawl course.

  • Now That is COOL even though Sandpaper is on the wood!!!!!

  • thats is the most insane incline I have seen, must be brand new rubbers and laminated wood for it to stick that well

  • what all exactly do you have done to this rig mine will do nothing like that belive me i have tried and info would help a lot thanks by the way nice video

  • I had T-Maxx shocks with the rod end mod, panthers with full regular foams in the rear, memories up front, a double triangulated lower skid plate, 8oz in each front wheel and 2 oz in the rears. Stage two longer upper control arms. I have actually changed to a different chassis since this video. It won't crawl as steep of an incline but it is a much better crawler all around. This was more for fun than actual real world crawling capability.

  • There are no strings attached. My dad thought the same thing until I showed him in person. It is about a 67 degree incline which is doable with the right setup. If I was going to make a fake video I would have made it a heck of a lot steeper! :) I should tell you that I stapled 120 grit belt sander belts to the board for traction that are not visible in the video. Try it with your rig... you might be surprised what it will do!

  • Not Strings BUT Sandpaper ! You were still tryin to bullshit somebody. Torque twist my ass ! Torque twist... the left side rear shock or the tire will squat. Front right side will lift. Make an outdoor video really try to impress somebody .

  • BullShit ! Ive Got One Had it since '07 I can see Your Front tires lift off the platform at :17 sec Where are your strings attached

  • Doober2001, what you are seeing is the torque twist, the front righ side tire does lift off, but the COG is low enough that it doesnt cause problems in this case, i'm rocking an ax10 as well and ill vouch that with the right set up this is easily doable

  • only reason that happened is cus wen u accelerate it will do that at steep inclines

  • that i frigin amazing!!! lol

  • great hard hit thoe

  • that was awesome! hard to believe it crawled on such a slope! no wheel spin at all...very nice driving
