O ya i know i also breed crickets aswhell 8) i plan to mix the insects up to every so often and get my beardy some other things whenever i go to the pet store....thanks for the help...
I agree that is super cool.... Hey i have a question about mealworms...ok so i breed mealworms just cause its super easy and so i was wondering if i could put like 5 in its salad everyday....people say they are bad 4 beardys sooo....
@Shawskyyy Complete ignorant Idiots say it is bad Shawsky, not people. Anyway there is a reason for this and it is because they have a unusually hard and thick shell on the outside. They are part of a good nutrional breakfeast for your Dragon. Much like the Raisin Bran commercial. Anyway yes you should mix them in w/ your Dragons salad but don't feed your Dragon solely Superworms or Mealworms. You should Not let your Dragon live off any one insect ever.
@Shawskyyy I try. Anyway this probaly isn't the best video for Bearded Dragon care... It is dangerous to feed a Dragon this size a adult Grasshopper as done in the video. Even though it's really cool.
ive had my beardy for one 2 days and one night so far and at (1:23) in your video when i runs up your arm, mine did that as well but it stopped, looked around and decided to atempt to jump to a nearby table, missing and falling about 3 feet :S zilla is fine and is climbing around like normal but can i stop it from doing that so i can handle it frequently without worrying?
@ChronicalxInhalation It's new and probaly wants to explore. There spins (back bone) is pretty tough but just like anything else a hefty fall can break it's spin and usually causes instant death. Anyway after you get your Dragon out of the cage try to keep it lower to the ground. Sit on the floor or something and just keep picking it up and doing your best. Make sure you support all four of your Dragons feet and the base of the tail. Your dragon will be more balanced and comfortable this way.
Yea they really do because there extremly smart compared to most other reptiles. They know what "back to the cage" means. Which is why experts recommend excessive handling to tame them. There very easy to tame and most already are when you get them it's just keeping them used to being handled and you will have no problem.
"small" grasshopper. Thats a way too big and as said below, you shouldn't really feed them wild hoppers as they could well have been treated with pesticides.
Obviously you dident pay any attention i admitted it was way to big because she accidently got the big one but she is 100% fine. Also you need to be more educated, check out my Bearded Dragon video that i posted a couple of days ago where i cover all this stuff.
Dude your an idiot. Is this what you do w/ your life? Try to act smart and get attention? Are you like 6 years old? She loves grasshopers and she "Narf's" them down pretty easily. She is doing fine and growing so shut your mouth and go cry to mommy about some guy on youtube feeding his Dragon large grasshopers.
jesus fucking christ how retarded are you?? snapping at the first bit of criticism like a bitch. Your the fucker who sounds 6. I'm been rescueing beardies for years so believe it or not I do know a think or two. If thats how you feed Zoey then fine carry on, its your beardie.
First of all you sound like a retard in your video. Right when it starts your like "DERRR" and secondly your dragon is on sand which is alot worse than feeding it large prey. Pay attention to care for it you reject. So yes you need to be more educated and also just to let you know by the dim light in the cage i can tell your probaly getting lack of heat and UVA and UVB output in there. Also the Arm Waving thing is to either get prey to move so they can tell if it's something to eat or mating.
1. As I said, I've kept beardies on sand for 10+ years and NEVER had a problem. 2. Nothing wrong with the light, the UVB is a Arcardia D3 12%, best on the market. 3. The basking spot lamp is on a dimmer to regulate the temperature so is dim at the time of filming.
If your commenting on my video then post there!!! But thanks for the input.
Tower of Foutune just don't cheat if you play your cards right you will gain more money than you lose but not much and also Keystone because you can't lose that much money. Buy yourself into tournaments and try to win them.
All PetCo's are different. I know a guy that works at ours and he likes the Bearded Dragons alot so he spends alot of time with them and makes sure they get taken care of. There very healthy and the chances of disease are very low actually. It depends on the PetCo and you can tell by looking at them wether or not they are healthy. The price also varies from PetCo to PetCo. Anywhere from 39.99-99.99 you never really know.
My dad won't let me have a simple corn snake because snakes freak him out he said i can have a Monitor or Dragon though. I think ima get another dragon. There is another movie coming up soon. Less than a few hours away from this message. Just subscribe to my videos.

My Beardie, Pike, hates going back into his cage after i take him out. He holds on to my hand with his nails for dear life, lol

Yep and it's completly natural. You should keep it that way too. Because to them our world (our house) is a whole new world to a captive bred Dragon.
