i definatly agree with you. i have a modded gta4 with some really nice cars, its fun when you go online with a bunch of guys ready to destroy eachother in gtarace =]

it also makes more sense in flatout (not sure about grid) one your car catches on fire you can still compete i think. but in GTA 4 your car explodes or quits once it catches on fire

I don't know why but when I try to drive all I do is spin the tyres and drift around every corner... how you manage to keep it so under control I don't undertstand. 0_o Maybe it's because I'm using a keyboard? What driver assists have you got on?

acceleration & gas is hardly an on/off system neither is braking or steering. Control is obtained by using each by different degrees & sequence. Often taking a corner involves nothing more than steering and tapping the gas with no braking....depends on the situation. It takes some getting used to driving a virtual car especially if not accustomed to driving for real, but, its important to remember that turning a corner fast is never just simply braking

i use a logitech dualshock controller which is more of 25% on the gas or 50% rather than 0/100% helps alot when drifting when u can choose to put 15% angle and less than half gas

honestly i dont like codemasters, they make great games but the games they have are not meant for multiplayer, i mean you can play but they have glitches and small things they need to fix but they never fix. i would love to have a game where you can mod a car ( like bodywork ) and then smash it into other cars, with no guns involved. an actual demolition derby. i wish they could even add some new tracks for this game like a circular or rectangular demolition derby.

I heard grid 2 is coming out next year. Don't know when but that is all the info there is. More info will be released later.

CM is currently making some formula 1 game to be finished in spring of next year. If they are going to make grid 2 the making will start in the spring after the game is finished being made. CM will announce if they are going to release the game at all. CM should make grid 2.

@nathan0401 That is a great idea! The best thing I have seen for far is Driven to Destruction for the PS2 is probably the closest thing I can see to the American market.... None available for the UK yet though....But that really would be an amazing game!

Flatout in my opinion is better.....Who doesn't like using a school bus for a derby car? Or perhaps a semi, rocket car, flatmobile or even a mob car. Flatout is an arcade style racing. PS3 has Grid and 360 has Flatout.

i have this for the ps3 and my family does destruction derby and this is not it youhave 8 cars and line 4 on 1 side facing back wards and the other side the same way and at the count of 3 they back int each other and the car that is totaled is finshed and the last car standing is the winner

I have this game on pc... but the stering on this cars suck! specially on derby ones... ive tryied every combination posible on the advance options but when I hit the gas turning the car just jumps and starts burning out donuts... the game runs at 45 fps on a 1280 x 800 resolution... its not my sistem... its the game play.

my game runs over 100fps max graphics 1280x1040. you should get a steering wheel or a gamepad. it is hard to steer with a keyboard though cause its always 100% left or right. it is possible to race with keyboard though, i know some pro drivers out there i still cant beat and they use a keyboard.
