Lol I play third bass and we have an 8th grader playing first bass. It's because we're an arts magnet highschool. Anybody can participate in any arts program at our school as long as they're in the 8th grade or up. It's pretty awesome because he kicks ass! Lol He's a little shorter than the marimba player. So we can't put him on snare unfortunately.
