Show us a promo already! I've been dying for a Teaser or a TV spot. I've never seen this movie in a theater. I've got the original VHS copy which I've seen over 300 times. I went crazy when I saw it widescreen - now I can't wait to see it in IMAX 3-D! James Cameron, give us a teaser, please. It's almast 2012.

I don't see why they need to re-release Titanic in 3D. I went to see it in theaters December of 97 and January 98 and it was 3D enough for me then. It's still a powerful movie even if you watch it on the original 98 VHS. But I guess I'm just speaking as an old person who was only 18 when Titanic was in theaters ugh.. 3D

Well, back in 1997, Titanic was No. 1 at the BO for 14 weeks, straight. That was a record in itself.

The first showings of Titanic that I went to were packed. Everyone in the theater, men, women and children were crying their eyes out in the second. However, strangely enough, the second I left the theater, I wanted to go right back in and watch it again.

oh yeah I read that somewhere that it was number 1 for 14 or 15 weeks!! that is sooooooooooooo amazing!! I don't think that has happened with any other movie ever made! My parents saw it like 6 times in the theater! my dad was crying by the end my mom told me, and My dad rarely cries in any movie. That just shows how powerful this film is! but I know that this is a new generation and people will get to see it that have never seen it before.

Remastered? They have to give Titanic a 4K upgrade (resolution) in order to get the kind clarity required for 3D.
